  1. Weld 74 Hoss 3.0 Cap and Bushing

Thank you, that is exactly what my 3.0 OEM housing measures.
  2. Weld 74 Hoss 3.0 Cap and Bushing

I am not happy with the way the boot fits on mine, it is to loose. I would check with Bronc buster and see what the diameter of their lip is and if the boot fits better.
  3. Weld 74 Hoss 3.0 Cap and Bushing

Well I spoke with Weld 74 and they said they purposely make this lip size smaller. They stated that they have seen various boot sizes and therefore make the lip small. I do not understand why they would not just make the Weld 74 lip the same size as the OEM lip. I could not get a straight answer...
  4. Weld 74 Hoss 3.0 Cap and Bushing

Yes Sir, I did order the Hoss 3.0 option. The Hoss 3.0 lip measures 2.750" in diameter and the OEM lip measure 2.855" in diameter. The OEM boot fits loose. If you were to force a clamp it will bunch the boot as it is larger. Thank you for the response. Another question would be why did they not...
  5. Weld 74 Hoss 3.0 Cap and Bushing

Has anyone installed the Weld 74 Stage 1 cap and bushing on a Hoss 3.0 steering gear? If so, how did you overcome the disparity of the Weld 74 cover where the OEM boot slips on being 0.155 thousandths smaller than the OEM cover? If the boot was flexible as is the ICON tie rod set it may be...

  7. BRONCO SEVERE DUTY STEERING UPGRADE KIT now available from Ford Performance Parts!

Is there any difference between this Ford Performance rack and the Hoss 3.0 ( NB3Z-3504-M ) that everyone has been ordering?
  8. Rack-Hack. HOSS 3.0 severe duty STEERING RACK and TIE RODS ...Ford Performance M-3200-WT

So dumb question here. Is there a difference between the Ford Performance rack and the Hoss 3.0 rack (nb3z-3504-m) that is being ordered here? Also is there anyone in Oregon that could program a rack if needed?

  10. 2.7 injector rattling on startup

It seems as this is just an accepted experience if you have a 2.7L Bronco. A fair amount of people seem to make excuses as this is normal attrition and don't worry it is covered under warranty. Well, who wants the engine pulled on their fairly new Bronco? When the repair is complete it will...
  11. Wildtrak needs front differential

How is this possible "back ordered indefinitely" I mean WTF, are we living in a third world country? This covid supply chain excuses is getting old. Is it Ford not stocking parts or suppliers that can't produce? Either way, this is a sad that this is the best we can expect moving forward.
  12. Ford Performance Tailgate Reinforcement?

You can purchase the "Factory Ford OEM Spare Wheel Retaining Reinforcement Bronco Raptor N2DZ-1A430-B" new on ebay for about ~$250.00, if you contact the seller direct. Two new OEM Raptor hinges are gonna run ~ $390.00. So for the entire kit your looking at around $650.00. I bet Ford...
  13. Why can't Ford fix the cam phaser issue?

I am inclined to believe it is an oil flow design flaw between the V6 engine and its phaser. The in-line engine does not have the problem yet I find it hard to believe the phaser itself is that much better of a design. If it was the phaser design alone that was the issue for the V6 engine, then...
  14. Why can't Ford fix the cam phaser issue?

I agree with you, the Bronco is one of the most enjoyable vehicles I have owned. I also agree there is also a small amount of failures in any manufacture. However, Ford has been using these cam phasors for many years now and can't seem to figure out how to fix them? I don't want to have my...
  15. Why can't Ford fix the cam phaser issue?

Thank you for the answer Sir. I don't mean any disrespect to any engineer but man how hard can it be? Ford has designed and produced some amazing vehicles and we are talking about a phasor. I don't mean to be obtuse but do you think it is even technically possible or is it not financially cost...
  16. Why can't Ford fix the cam phaser issue?

Serious question, not sure if it has been asked. Is there a reason Ford can't seem to fix the cam phasor issue. Reading on here it seems there are failures on 23 year models with low mileage. I know there has been an part update but it has not seemed to fix the issue. Ford is not the only...
  17. It’s MY25, your Bronco is getting a refresh, what are your most desired changes/adjustments?

If not already mentioned, I would like fixes to current problems. Cam Phasers that don't fail and hard tops that do not crack. I would settle for these options.
  18. Tailgate Hinge Unfinished Paint

Remove the hinge and you will see no finish color paint underneath. It aluminum, not really a problem.
  19. Tailgate Hinge Unfinished Paint

This is sadly normal, the rear gate is painted with the hinges installed. If you remove the hinges you will see there is no paint under them. I discovered this when replacing mine with Raptor hinges.
