  1. Winch recommendations for capable bumper

So the the skid plate on the RC hidden winch is known to be pretty vulnerable and get bent up easily. It's also not a real well made skid plate with very minimal coverage and two little winged pieces sort of that bolt on separately. Just not a very well thought through design. I mean it was...
  2. Manual transmission deliveries....got some questions

I feel like some of us are having two different conversations, or something is getting lost in translation... No worries. Y'all have a good one!
  3. Recall 26S55: 2021-2026 Bronco - Engine Compartment Wiring Harness Repair [July 23, 2026] -- 590,000k units affected

Okay what if in doing that it takes them another week to put out the initial notification? Should they take that week? Or should they put something out as soon as they can?
  4. The death of the stick shift is almost here.

Exactly! I've gone through this so many times and it's infuriating. Worst is the MK3/3.5 Focus. They tell them that the automatic has a clutch and you can shift it yourself and it makes the problem even worse.
  5. Recall 26S55: 2021-2026 Bronco - Engine Compartment Wiring Harness Repair [July 23, 2026] -- 590,000k units affected

Yeah that's a good idea. Might see if I can get a look under the hood of a friend's new one. Not sure if I can do that anytime soon though.
  6. Manual transmission deliveries....got some questions

I'm referencing using it while driving off road, as in the Mustang drift mode. As far as just parking, of course no issues just like our current e-brake.
  7. Manual transmission deliveries....got some questions

Right because the Mustang is only rear wheel drive. In the Bronco you would have an issue with the front and rear wheels being connected while in four wheel drive. So much like the Focus RS, and Subarus and such, you have to disconnect the rear from the front or basically let the rear slip in...
  8. Recall 26S55: 2021-2026 Bronco - Engine Compartment Wiring Harness Repair [July 23, 2026] -- 590,000k units affected

Exactly! People rag on Ford for so many recalls, the other manufacturers have just as many issues that they won't own up to or take care of their customers.
  9. The death of the stick shift is almost here.

On one hand I think that's ridiculously stupid, on the other hand I'm completely not surprised. Part of me wonders if that interface with a fake CLUTCH pedal/switch/whatever, could fix the problems with the DP6S focus transmission. I'm not an expert with how they work, just with the symptoms...
  10. Help - FP coils contacting front shock buckets

I would go ahead and start lubing those rusty studs in preparation for removal. There is clearly something going on. Mine definitely have plenty of clearance. I'd be surprised if those springs were that much wider.
  11. Recall 26S55: 2021-2026 Bronco - Engine Compartment Wiring Harness Repair [July 23, 2026] -- 590,000k units affected

I'm assuming it's due to it being fire, and potential loss of life. Imagine if someone passed away after they knew about a possibility.
  12. Recall 26S55: 2021-2026 Bronco - Engine Compartment Wiring Harness Repair [July 23, 2026] -- 590,000k units affected

If this is true, seems to track with what some of you guys have already found and started to address near the radiator.
  13. Help - FP coils contacting front shock buckets

Sorry been a while since I've had mine apart, is there a chance the coils are upside down or something?
  14. Manual transmission deliveries....got some questions

Yeah I thought about just relocating it with a switch from a different model, however I don't want to delete the factory switch. So I would rather use a switch from another model, but in conjunction with the factory switch. That set up from the Mustang would be pretty neat, however I don't...
  15. Manual transmission deliveries....got some questions

Also to add, when you have the parking brake engaged you can drive away by starting to engage the clutch and then tapping the throttle it will release on its own. It's a little clunky to figure out sometimes at first depending on how you drive. The parking brake switch is in an awkward spot for...
  16. Ford performance rack is broken I’ve got questions

If y'all are on Facebook you should follow Lamont Lucas Case. Posts some good wheeling reels.
  17. Recall 26S55: 2021-2026 Bronco - Engine Compartment Wiring Harness Repair [July 23, 2026] -- 590,000k units affected

Yeah he said he was thinking he would like the Land Cruiser because he had a 4Runner a while back and was a Toyota guy for a long time. He said this one just didn't do it for him and it was kind of boring. He said he was trying the Bronco just out of curiosity from me and him talking. But he...
  18. Winch recommendations for capable bumper

On my buddies that I helped with we just zipped the bracket in two cutting out the middle piece and bolted it back on.
  19. Recall 26S55: 2021-2026 Bronco - Engine Compartment Wiring Harness Repair [July 23, 2026] -- 590,000k units affected

That's interesting. I'm assuming it might have been due to the actual production date of that one. A friend of mine actually just bought a 60th Anniversary yesterday. Incidentally he was cross shopping Land Cruisers and a few others and then the Bronco while debating trading his Gladiator in...
