  1. Eruption Green 2 Door Bronco at MAP

Be still my beating heart, that is glorious
  2. Eruption Green 2 Door Bronco at MAP

I love this color. With the bodylines on the doors and the green, I always get some Kaiser M715 vibes from the Bronco when I see it in this shade.
  3. Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway

    Congrats! Exciting!
  4. Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway

Part 11, Sandy Ridge Road. This is the last dirt you see before reaching the Red River Gorge Geological Area, until you get to Spaas Creek. And I got a build week for the Bronco, middle of February!
  5. Bronco Sasquatch Suspension Shock Leak Failure -- TFL

Hate to say it, but it happens even with high performance shocks. I've had a nearly new Fox go bad just like that after only a few wheeling trips--while the rest in that same batch held up to tons of abuse. Since it's TFL, I'm sure Ford will take care of them. If it becomes a pattern (i.e...
  6. Jack Options

Safe Jack adapters + my old Farm & Fleet bottle jack. The most useful Safe Jack adapters IMO are the flat lift plate and the one that cradles the axle tube. Then start with the 3" extension and the much longer adjustable extension, later. You don't need to buy all of them up front, just start...
  7. How's your daily driver holding up while you wait?

It's not doing too bad, all things considered. In 2020 it blew a rear main seal, and it was pulled apart about 3 times getting that fixed. I did the brakes all around that year as well. Early this year I had the front axle cleaned up, new seals, and ujoints. Now it needs a new thermostat...
  8. Off Road Maps that work on the Bronco, what is Working?

I've never used OnX so can't compare, but I'm very happy with Gaia GPS. The Private Land and Public Land layers are invaluable in the National Forests east of the Mississippi. I also love the ability to layer all the different topo and informational maps, you get so much more context on the...
  9. 12/16/2021 - Scheduled for Production updates wanted

It's definitely fast. Seems like lots of Black Diamonds and Soft Tops getting scheduled recently, I had a spidey sense it could happen this week.
  10. 12/16/2021 - Scheduled for Production updates wanted

  11. ERUPTION GREEN Bronco Club

Got scheduled for 2/14 build week today!
  12. [SCHEDULING NOW 12/16] ⏱ 2022 Bronco Scheduling Next Week (12/13) For Build Weeks 2/14 and 2/21

Believe me, I'm surprised. Soft tops do seem to be flying up the queue, however, looking at a lot of the recent schedulings.
  13. [SCHEDULING NOW 12/16] ⏱ 2022 Bronco Scheduling Next Week (12/13) For Build Weeks 2/14 and 2/21

Just got scheduled for 2/14. Reserved 8/9/2021 Ordered 11/5/2021 Scheduled today for 2/14/2022. Black Diamond 4-door, Soft Top, 2.7L, Sasquatch, Mid, Tow, Eruption Green, Mod bumper, floor liners and door bags.
  14. 2021 Bronco Crash Test Results - 5/6 Rating by IIHS. Top Jeep Wrangler

It does better than the Wrangler JL in the frontal offset, it has a larger cabin that the JL, way more headroom, and side curtain bags. Bronco destroys Jeep in this area; the side curtains and the headroom are major reasons I'm not buying a JL instead. The Bronco wins here by a lot, IMO
  15. Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway

Part 10, Lower Devil Creek. After making it through Old Fincastle Road, this trail will be the last on the southern end of the DBBB loop, before heading north towards the Red River Gorge Geological Area.
  16. Black Diamond and Badlands Broncos vs. Jeeps Off-Roading

That is a good comparison video--clearly shows the suspension differences between BD (connected) and BL (diconnected), and then vs. Jeeps, on the same terrain. The BD would have pulled right through most of that stuff with a rear and/or front locker. Add a pair of front swaybar disconnects and...
  17. Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway

We did not find it too bad when we went a few months ago. There are some groups that I think do a fair amount of trail maintenance now, so it might depend what time of year. I could definitely see towards the end of spring or beginning of summer, some of the spots may grow in quite a bit and...
  18. Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway

Part 9, Old Fincastle Road. This road contains 2 of the most significant obstacles on the Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway; a deep creek crossing and rock garden. I was highcentered on the big rock, but a Sasquatch should clear it. Anything less than a Sasquatch would likely have to winch or be...
  19. Factory Sasquatch question - Goodyears (or another tire) good for rocky conditions (puncture resistance)?

I wheel with a fair number of people that use Mickey T's, ATZ P3 or the MT version of that. They do perform quite well, very similar to the Coopers.
  20. Factory Sasquatch question - Goodyears (or another tire) good for rocky conditions (puncture resistance)?

This. Cooper Discoverer S/T MAXX are awesome for this if you're looking for a hybrid MT/AT tire (See the STT Pro if you're looking for something even more aggressive). These were mine after 40k miles, I beat the daylights out of them and they were great. Moved to a BFG KO2 since, but I'll...
