Haha! Wow! One of my oldest vids. I should probably do an update to that one and actually describe everything, lol.
I am surprised no one will ship to Canada. Have you looked at CVT's trailer or Ruger's trailer?
Maybe see if you can find a surplus Canadian M101? That would be similar.
Yes. If you can deal with the added length of a trailer when you are traveling, and you have a place to store it, it is the way to go especially if you have to carry multiple items.
I carried 2 kayaks on my Jeep TJ soft top roof rack for many years. But as soon as I started adding to that I...
What's the build profile of the Broncos stuck in the Production state? Is it the manual transmissions or some higher trim item or accessory option?
There is also the awaiting shipping purgatory, been stuck in that for 17 days along with several others here. But that I think is a factor of...
At this point I wish it was going for a choo-choo ride. Still sitting at the plant waiting for a truck after blend 3/16 and build finished 3/20. Who else is still stranded at the home base?
Only thing I can think of is that they do not have a truck with an empty slot going in range of our dealers, and so they sit there until they have built enough Broncos from neighboring dealers, so they can finally make the trip with a full truck.
Man this whole logistics process is such a mystery. 3/16 blend, build finished by 3/20, no updates since then, no line pic. My dealer is 5.5 hours drive from the plant. I would love to be a fly on the wall to see the reasons of what goes where and when...
3/16 blend, 3/20 build finished; it's built, but still waiting on shipping. I got the mail about them doing some final inspections, but I'm sure that just means it is still sitting in the yard waiting on a truck.
Ford chat still saying that my 3/16 is in production with ETA of 3/31 - 4/6. I'll bet it is wandering around in the yard at the accessory building waiting for someone to chuck the door bags in the back  All you people who ordered bull bars and PPF get out of the way 😁😁😁
Hmmm good point. The April 6 date is weird though as I'm midwest, shipping by truck, so if it were done or close to it, it would be here within the next week. Was guessing that any date nearly 3 weeks out means it's probably waiting on some part.
I was a 3/16. Saw the modules move but nothing else has updated. Pinged the Ford chat and they're saying ETA for build completion as April 6. Guessing I'm either on the Mountain waiting on parts or maybe it's those door storage bags I had added to the order.
That's not a prototype, that's Dana's Bronco. They are probably getting their aftermarket D60 rear axle and a HD version of the front center section approved to sell through the Ford parts catalog. Dana does the same thing with their aftermarket axles for Jeep/Mopar.
Pretty much. With the dual rate bar locked in you get the torsion rate for regular driving. Unlocked you get a reduced torsion rate for off-road (similar to what you would get with a Currie AntiRock).
With the reduced off-road torsion rate, yes, you could move faster through some of the...
