  1. Just Ordered 2022 - Wildtrak Sasquatch - What Should I Expect Now?

How much did you have to put down to reserve it. My guy wanted $1000.
  2. Just Ordered 2022 - Wildtrak Sasquatch - What Should I Expect Now?

I was told this week if I ordered basically the same build as OP the ETA would be about 4 months. Could definitely get delayed but that was the estimate.
  3. Yes, another first weeks (1000+ mile) ownership impressions, stats, and issues.

I love Toyotas but agree on all points. Towed a side by side up to Hungry Valley and Runner did not enjoy the climb. Have had spine surgery and no lingering issues but 4Runner seats did make my back ache. I want a LC .. but my boys say that ā€œisn’t funā€. I do like my GX (my third) but it also is...
  4. Are people really buying the $100K+ listed Broncos?

Wow - I had no idea it included all of this. That is a VERY good deal IMO.
  5. Are people really buying the $100K+ listed Broncos?

Yeah.. if I went the luxury route I’d get an LX 600.
  6. Are people really buying the $100K+ listed Broncos?

I am messaging some dealers within a few hundred miles of me about models with the 2.3 and MT.. to see who is selling for MSRP and who isn't. I like the idea of 'testing the waters' with a very basic model before tossing $60K+ at one of these.
  7. Are people really buying the $100K+ listed Broncos?

I am not gonna lie.. if I was holding an order right now and didn't 'want it' ..and someone offered me a few K over I would take it. I just did this with a 4Runner. Was offered several K over MSRP on it after a year of owning it.. now it only had 7K miles so it was perfect. As crazy as it...
  8. šŸ“ UPDATE Dec 12th: My Letter to the Ford Executive Team: Submitted Customer Feedback Proposal and Response

I have had the same concerns with LR. But after a year or so of knowing people with the new Defender they are VERY happy with them. Our next door neighbor drives hers all over SoCal and has had no issues. Her only complaint was that the brakes are overly sensitive. She has one of the first...
  9. Are people really buying the $100K+ listed Broncos?

It blows my mind but I think they are getting crazy high markups on them.. I don't know about how many are going for $100K but some are IMO. My closest dealer has a WT with 7500 miles listed for $90K. I saw it and checked it out... I was told it is being sold to a friend of the GM. I wonder if...
  10. Advanced 4x4 vs the standard option

I loved 4A in my F-150. It was always used in crazy afternoon storms when we lived in FL.
  11. šŸ“ UPDATE Dec 12th: My Letter to the Ford Executive Team: Submitted Customer Feedback Proposal and Response

Let's be honest though.. fun factor.. 4Runner vs Bronco.. I am a Toyota loyalist but it isn't even close.. Bronco by a light year.
  12. šŸ“ UPDATE Dec 12th: My Letter to the Ford Executive Team: Submitted Customer Feedback Proposal and Response

Please know that I am not bashing domestics.. owned a EB Bronco and loved it. Owned an F-150 and loved it way more than I expected to (V8). Both showed their age at around 100K miles. Two of the vehicles I am looking at buying next year are 'domestic', the new Tundra and the Bronco. I am very...
  13. šŸ“ UPDATE Dec 12th: My Letter to the Ford Executive Team: Submitted Customer Feedback Proposal and Response

Land Cruiser, LX, 4Runner and GX are still made in Japanese plants in Japan by Japanese workers.
  14. šŸ“ UPDATE Dec 12th: My Letter to the Ford Executive Team: Submitted Customer Feedback Proposal and Response

We could debate this all day. Cars made in Japan or with Japanese manufacturing process have been more reliable than their domestic counterparts for decades.
  15. 2.3 Shaping up to be the better Engine?

This post hits home with me and I agree. I grew up around car restorations and modding. I still remember my dad putting an LT1 engine (350/350) in a 1982 step side truck for fun. At my request he later put a hot 454 in it.. that thing would boil BF ATs at speed. Most of these cars were well...
  16. Yes, another first weeks (1000+ mile) ownership impressions, stats, and issues.

6th Gen 4Runner coming 2023 I think. He could grab a 5 year old GX & do some mild cutting. That gets him a V8, full-time 4WD, and a very cozy interior…and very capable.
  17. šŸ“ UPDATE Dec 12th: My Letter to the Ford Executive Team: Submitted Customer Feedback Proposal and Response

All of those using Japanese ā€˜process’. The highest ranked midsize & full size SUVs in reliability are built in Japan. I can appreciate American cars. Restored tons with my dad… but domestic vehicles just aren’t on the same level as Japanese made. Remove fleet sales from the equation…consumer...
  18. Video: 2022 Bronco Raptor Off-Roading, Side-by-Side vs Standard (Outer Banks) Bronco, and Rear End Undercarriage

For me it’s sound. Does that Gen3 have piped in sound? Either way. The sound of a turbo whistle isn’t the grunt I prefer. I just test drove a 2.7 Bronco BL and the sound really threw me off. I know I’m old school… but I was in this rugged off-road MACHINE .. and it was whistling. Just weird to...
