Thank you for this. This does help. I think when I get closer Iām going to go drive both Sasquatch and non. I like the look of both. Will also give my boys a vote.
Thank you. I like the WT but have concerns about Sasquatch. So many people say it isnāt a big deal on highways/80 mph. I know I would want to sell the mud tires and replace with Toyo AT3. I need snow rating more than mud and it would quiet it down. Iām not concerned about ASD as I could do that...
If I was single with no kids I would go 2 door.. but I am not. mid-40s with two boys. I am not dealing with moving the seats forward and we also need the cargo room. I would 100% go 4 door.
Called a lot yesterday in Woodland Hills to see if they had something I could test drive (want to TD a Sas) and asked about what they had. They had a Badlands and wanted $30K over MSRP. If my wife told me for Christmas to go buy anything with an open budget there is no way in hell I would pay...
I test drove a non-Sas Badlands and they had a Wildtrak on the lot at the same time. I think they also had a Big Bend. There is a A51 First Edition in our neighborhood and my son says he sees a blue one parked by his school on the street during the day. I saw a FE in Newport Beach on...
Also would have gone AMB. Nothing really stands out now. I also liked that cherry looking red. Now would go Carbonized Gray and wrap if I wanted something else.
Same. We need my vehicle to be good for packing up/road tripsā¦especially for ski trips and next season to take bikes to Big Bear during spring/summer.
Nice!! Thank you for this summary. Iāve considered not going Sasquatch because of time on interstates/long trips. The 35s werenāt bad for long hours in saddle? What was your to/from?
Thank you. My GX has same side of seat issue as I sold use the step. On a test drive I thought the same thing about the engine. Was āweirdā being in a crazy off-road capable truck and hearing that engine. .. still very few rides that look better. Do you wish you had gone with soft top?
Thank you. I used to be. Now in LA. I need to find some trails I can take my boys on if you have any recommendations. Nothing crazy until I get something truly made for it. I just think Iāll regret 35s. If it was a Raptor I think itās different.
Thank you. This will be my daily driver and what I haul boys around SoCal in. I think 33 would be plenty for the off-roading we would do. I am good with the truck āfeelā. I prefer it.
Not everyone needs or wants a 767 cockpit in their truck. I was standing at a corner in Santa Monica this week and a 1st Gen 4Runner drove by. Looked & sounded great. Was an early 80s model I think.
