Yeah as others have said... find another dealer and/or get on Ford directly... Alternative is wait for the class action suit or recall.... I'd be shocked if one of the two doesn't happen.
Unless Ford comes out and says they mislabeled the Bronco (honestly this isn't something that would surprise me) i'll go off the recommended rating. Only time I would deviate is if i'm running a drastically different tire from OEM.
Those are the same people who will bitch when they end up having problems resolved or improved by the updates they didn't do.... amazing how that works.
If you go aftermarket and are ok with the styling, get the Morimoto XB. They are a substantial upgrade over the stock lights performance wise, especially on low beams. Also, you are correct, the tails are still LED
Check the window sticker, its possible it was built with the standard lights, and there would be credit for it. Assuming they started doing this due to shortages of some sort.
Yeah anyone acting like the 10 speed is really that good either hasn't owned one, has never had a good auto, or is in some way mentally deficient or just numb.... the ZF 8 is a good auto... ford's 10 speed is garbage in comparison... hate to say it... not thrilled about the noisy manuals but...
Forgive me if I missed something (probably did) but when we get bumped back (i've been bumped 3 weeks now) do we just update the original spreadsheet or move to the new relevant one?
Yeah this place can be a shit show but it feels like meditation and group therapy wrapped into one compared to the Facebook groups. I used to think a lot of people on here were crybabies until I discovered those groups.
Really loving this solution. Only thing I think I will change is dipping the flat hooks vs a stick on solution. Is there a decent amount of clearance to work with where the hooks meet the rack mounts?
I finally got a build week and vin (early april). 10/20 res with pretty much all of the deadly sins.
2door mansquatch bl tow and lux. I was given a heads up that my build was a priority 1 now so i figured there was a good possibility for a date soon but i'm still shocked/surprised
I'm sure it doesn't but you should probably document your removal just in case based on some off the things I've seen. At this rate I'll never get a chance to find out since Ford can't build me a Bronco, and if they don't build it before price protection ends I'll be cancelling.
Yeah anytime you modify something, it has the potential to void warranty. Painting something requires prep work which certainly is altering the finish of the top, pretty much promise you that you won't get any kind of warranty from that roof once you do that.
I'm an October 2020 reservation... I've been waiting this long, if they can't build what I've been patiently waiting for, i'll cancel my order/not convert to 2024. Not worth it at that point and I'll never buy a Ford again.... not that I matter to them (clearly) but I won't be the only one...
Not sure on the bronco but i think i saw it as an option when i was messing with my f-150. Just keep in mind that its not legal in the US unless theyve changed that law, so you may run in to inspection issues. Also if you're running OEM fogs, there isn't really a benefit to having them on with...
