For me there are features that you can get get on a base that I wanted so it made sense to go badlands lux. If you don't see a difference or care, keep what you have and save your cash.
Honestly, they install and transport the seats covered up, I could see that missing QC alot easier than some other stuff... still though. I didn't get the email so its probably some wonderful confusing Ford email server glitch
Having spent a lot of time on Bronco facebook groups (this place isn't immune either, although seemingly less so.... I'd have to thoroughly disagree with you on that one.
Well I wouldn't call that a factory defect but holy crap... I don't use any sort of care when using mine and I haven't had any experiences that would make me think its weak... That being said if that broke, I could manage until its fixed luckily.
I have a couple of paint defects (all in the same area) that i'm having fixed under warranty (sort of a pain so far but it will get resolved) otherwise mine has is super tight and everything works great. Any chance you over torqued the bolts on the roof? Either way i'm sure Ford will take care...
Kinda with you on this one. I used it a bunch @ the Off-Roadeo and it worked quite well and was some impressive voodoo... but I also know how to drive and have been casually wheeling for 20 years.... I don't need it, plus I have a manual so I don't have it.... Feel like its better suited for...
Yeah push for them to cover, if not go to another dealer, if they won't help you, go through Ford. Unless there's more to the story, that shouldn't have happened, not because of just tires.
Schedule permitting I'm interested as well... my Badlands finally showed up last month after 2.5 years... also looking to do some wheeling this summer although I miss having a shit box for hitting the trails... the old Land Rover wasn't nearly as nice....
Good to know but not shocking that something like this could happen... but it doesn't seem to be the norm with Mabett but who knows. I have the mudflaps because there aren't any that I like that don't look horrible or cost 500 bucks (or both really, which is usually the case). I haven't fit...
Sucks that you're having this issue but if it weren't for the fact that i'm busy spending money on PPF and mods.... id put money on it being the dealer that fucked it up and not Ford... I could be wrong... but I doubt it. Also if they don't have paperwork backing up the work done to it from...
Not in any states that I've seen.... but maybe where you live? Certainly is not a federal law. That I assure you. I am very familiar with dealer operations from working for one. I'm sure at a certain point there are restrictions somewhere but its not 50 miles or anything like that.
