  1. Selling a Bronco due to recall with no remedy?

Ah, when I Google searched current recalls only the Bronco Sport recall showed up. Searched here and found the quoted recall above. So your friend is saying Ford has yet to offer a fix for a recall 8 months old? Take the Bronco in, get it serviced. Ford has a fix, because they could not...
  2. Selling a Bronco due to recall with no remedy?

Ah. So not a 6g bronco but a Bronco Sport. Got it.
  3. Selling a Bronco due to recall with no remedy?

Ask him to ask, what no remedy recall they are talking about... curious.
  4. 27 months and 50k miles in my Stroppe Baja Bronco tribute build

Awesome! Was Great talking to you at East last year. Hope to talk again this year, get a side by side pic! Erm, of the trucks.
  5. Stroppe Edition and Tribute Club

Hmm, just scrolled through my G.O.A.T. modes and my Stroppe does not have "Sport" mode. Am I missing something?
  6. Tire question

Other option might have been, put the spare on. Sidewall plug the tire and put it on the back with the idea of treating it like a drive slow directly to a tire store kind of spare. Not that I have eveeer done that... Or recommend that if it was my daughter.
  7. Fire extinguisher icon on two-door rear cargo mat

Looks like someone at Ford's development Team had an idea. Got it as far as the, print it on the mat stage before it was eliminated as a whole for costs or liability issues.
  8. 2027 Bronco RTR revealed as part of 2027 model lineup

Don't understand (really I do, $) weight savings going 2.3L, but then cram that all in the heavier 4dr. >shrugs<
  9. Witnessed accident today

Having been in a rear ender that totaled my first Bronco, a couple of observations. 1. Hit in the rear does not set off the front air bag and in fact loosens your seat belt as I was stopped with foot on the brake in a turn lane. When my truck landed and the seat belt loosened my face impacted...
  10. MRT Elite axle back exhaust installed on my 2.7L BL Sas

I agree. My MRT is on its third Bronco, (Don't ask) and I love it. No real noticeable drone, yet I can hear it just fine. On the trails, I usually get the guy in the Bronco behind mine telling me how much he liked the exhaust note... (have had it happen a few times) And Easy install. 15...
  11. For those on the fence, 2.7 Borla S-Type

Went in a different direction, but honestly with a 10 speed auto which keeps the rpm's in a very narrow range, there isn't quite the exhaust excitement I had in my Focus RS. But, at the least I got rid of that 1/2 kegger Ford sticks on the truck for a much lighter shoe box sized muffler that I...
  12. Is the stock water fording depth on a Bronco actually enough?

Who gets to wade in and measure the creek bed depth? Draw straws?
  13. Hey guys! Just picked up a new Bronco and have a few questions!

If not mentioned and since you are in the South East, consider an April trip up to Supercellebration East in Townsend, TN (a strone's throw from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg). All kinds of vendors, over 1200 Bronco and their owners to talk to, trail rides both easy and tough... Great learning about...
  14. Final exterior touches on the Stroppe.

Could be, I did not go back and check. Hopefully, he will pipe in on an answer.
  15. Final exterior touches on the Stroppe.

I believe in his thread on numbers, it is based on the serial # code Ford utilized to designate the Stroppe. He just grabbed all the like kind serial numbers and ran a count.
  16. Final exterior touches on the Stroppe.

I respect that opinion. Obviously, I have a different opinion as I explained above in a post about my '63 vette. One thing that drew me personally to Bronco's is the ability to modify them to make them personal to one's own wishes, likings. My '77 rides on 9 shocks, far from standard. The engine...
  17. Hands on Steering Wheel Message

No way 10... 2.... hand position means anything unless I've somehow turned it off on my truck. I had rotator cuff surgery back in November. Been driving one handed ever since, as im still in a sling. Never received any warnings and my daily drive includes 30 miles highway driving.
  18. Final exterior touches on the Stroppe.

Another oddity I noticed. The "BRONCO" lettering on the front grille is a different shade of "Code Orange" than the body color "Code Orange". Is now noticeable with the paint matched brush guard out front.
