  1. Maryville, TN Bronco Offrodeo 26 July 2025

I'll be there for the upcoming ride in November. Way looking forward to the run.
  2. Goodbye Wildtrak. Welcome Stroppe 2-Door

Oh, I don't mind that at all. We all have opinions and mine is no better than anyone else's. Just don't use false claims to make one's point. That I may have a beef with, as noted above when someone said there is nothing special about the Stroppe.... Yea, there is, at least for 2025 and it...
  3. Goodbye Wildtrak. Welcome Stroppe 2-Door

Not sure that's a true statement. My '22 Sticker for a fully loaded OBX SAS wasn't $30k less. Maybe $10k less. I think I paid $66k but am pretty sure there was a Dealer mark up due to the insurance recovery over the 2021 that was totaled (insurance Co. gave me $$ over 2021 sticker as well) v...
  4. Goodbye Wildtrak. Welcome Stroppe 2-Door

True, but none of my vehicles are purchased with value long term in mind. I buy them to enjoy them, not to save them for the next guy. That includes my '77 Bronco, my '81 280zx, my '74 Landcruiser...

  6. Goodbye Wildtrak. Welcome Stroppe 2-Door

Since you asked, ill give you my reply as to why this edition is "Special". It is the last 2dr with a V-6. That is one of the reasons I traded in my 2022 v-6 OBX SaS 2dr. I wanted the last version of V-6 2dr. Now, was it special enough as is? No, I put a Warn winch on the front, ordered 2...
  7. 2 Door Broncos - What’s on your roof racks? [Photos Thread]

Dust. Sitting in the garage unused.
  8. Tire store shenanigans...

    M/T Canyon's which are actually 9" in width with the K03's in 315 70 R 17.
  9. Tire store shenanigans...

And that was the issue. Tire Store employee could not believe Ford had put 315's on 8.5 inch rims even after he went out to the parking lot to confirm AND then had to look it up on line. He had been told in his training that this was a major safety issue, therefore not allowed. One can not argue...
  10. Goodbye Wildtrak. Welcome Stroppe 2-Door

    Love mine, you'll love yours!
  11. Stroppe Edition registry - add yours

I usually say, what Carol Shelby was to Mustangs, Bill Stroppe was to Bronco's. And yes, this was the color way he sold them in during the late 60's early 70's.
  12. Stroppe Edition registry - add yours

Think I read somewhere the A pillar grab handles are standard going forward on all Gen 6 trucks. But, I'm old and my memory is beginning to suck. Not sure why they posted that all black MGV interior. Why remove that orange stitching? Bah.
  13. Stroppe Edition and Tribute Club

My Stroppe has new shoes. I must say, the look surprised me on how well I liked it. Picked the wheels up off Ebay as Mickey Thompson does not have any and are not in the process of making any more (at least currently). FYI. In Mid-November it goes in for the Tail Gate paint fix. I'm uncertain...
  14. Stroppe Edition and Tribute Club

I understand a 4dr Stroppe. My issue, personally, still stems from having zero desire to own a 4dr Bronco. But im old, no kids to lug around.
  15. Stroppe Edition and Tribute Club

I live in Western North Carolina, I've seen two others in my town.
  16. Tire store shenanigans...

Solid info, but alas, im across the country in North Carolina.
  17. Having fun with the Stroppe

BTW, Fonta Flora has their Farm brew pub right around the corner. Worth a pint afterwards to relax the jitters! 6751 NC 126 in Nebo.
  18. Tire store shenanigans...
