I ran method's on my last bronco, had to use a spacer in there. Had one tech leave it on the tire they rotated to the spare. Didn't take a few seconds driving down the street to realize something was wrong. Vibration hell.

Had a similar experience with my Stroppe, always figured the hold up was in the aftermarket shop that was completing the Stroppe edition for Ford. They used an outside vendor. Now, I always "figured" that was the issue. I did finally get my Stroppe but waited an extra almost 2 month past...

Be glad the air bags did not deploy. My wife had a similar accident while driving, but the air bag deployed... It broke her left arm.
