  1. Add a top down the road?

Sarge, you really need some more coffee, you missed the whole satirical jab at the unseen, only mentioned, accessories catalog. Comment had nothing to do with vehicle reservations.
  2. Add a top down the road?

We know at least 200 pieces are ready and waiting. I suppose we will have to make reservations to get the accessories catalog as well...
  3. Do you think Ford will offer different tire options?

Already resigned myself to a new set of wheels (Pre-delivery sale on Outer Banks 18” wheels) and a tire upgrade to BFG KO2 33”s, if I can get the advanced 4x4 with the lockers as an option without Sasquatch, it’s a done deal, but, we all know that nothing will be a stand alone option...
  4. Request: 2 door OBX without Sasquatch

Two door Outer Banks and Cactus Gray FE
  5. John Bronco mockumentary

    Invalid access code.
  6. Manual or the 2.7

Fifty years of driving and forty of those with a manual. Last ten years with an automatic in my F-150. Do I miss rowing gears, you bet, but I want the V6 and so it is not available to me. I’m fine with the 10 speed.
  7. Ford should make a mini Godzilla engine

A Baby Zilla would be ideal and probably fit without frame modifications. Duel direct and port injection. 289, 302 or a 351. Classic architecture, classic displacement. A boy can dream...
  8. What Bronco swag gifts has your dealer sent you?

I had to contact my dealer to confirm they had my reservation, beyond that, nothing.
  9. 2021 Bronco Trim Poll

Outer Banks has the creature comforts standard and is the most street adaptable of the trims. Daily driver, pavement pounder. V6, Lux Package, shadow black modular top, modular front bumper. Still on the fence as to Sasquatch or 33”s.
  10. To Sasquatch or not to Sasquatch, lots of Cons!

Unless cubic inches gets blocked by cubic dollars...
  11. To Sasquatch or not to Sasquatch, lots of Cons!

Personally, I am going with the 2.7L. I still hear my grandfather telling me to buy the most engine I could afford. The V6 will have less mechanical stress as a daily driver. Stepping up to KO’2s will add an additional 21 pounds of unsprung weight per corner. I do not think it will cause any...
  12. To Sasquatch or not to Sasquatch, lots of Cons!

Right there with the group on the initial “Gotta have it” look of Sasquatch. Reality of what the vehicle will be sets in, daily driver, highway pounder. The standard 3:73 gearing of the Outer Banks is ideal. A bit of searching through TireRack specs on the standard Duelers show them to be...
  13. White Top and Other Predictions

Levine said B&P would be up in September, and my guess is sometime late on the 30th. Hey, it’s still September, and everything else is just conjecture.
  14. Are you a repeat customer at your reservation dealer?

Been with the same dealer since 1990 and with another Ford dealer starting in 1979. Current dealer is a small family run dealership that I know the people there and they know me. Always well cared for.
  15. My dream build, what's yours?

Two door Outer Banks in Oxford White. Lux Package, 2.7L, 10 speed auto, white top. Undecided on 33’s or Sasquatch Package yet.
  16. Vintage Bronco Graphics

Had not even given thought to original metal signage. Good call, thanks.
  17. Vintage Bronco Graphics

I want to pull the Outer Banks Decal from the fenders and put Bronco script in its place. I’m sure there will be dozens of vendors making it .
  18. Granger Ford approaching Bronco cult hero status

I have zero artistic talent, so I’ll let some with these skills try to bring it to life. A gen 1 Bronco grille with headlights and turn signals intact and GRANGER in place of the FORD across the center of the grille. Maybe three to four inches in length, so as not to be intrusive, but...
  19. Grilles...oh those Friggin' Grilles!

Grille discussion is settled for me, and this is it. There will be an aftermarket copy of the original at some point. Thanks to Mo Aoun Design for showing the way.
