He's going off the number in the top right corner that says 156/894. My batch number is 5561, and my corresponding number here is 575/894, seems to be a difference of about 14 in each case. 894 is also 13 off from that image showing 907 cars being built in MAP today. So maybe there's something...
No, it doesn't change that frequently. Mine was 7/29 for a week until today, when it changed to 8/5. Before 7/29 it was 7/21. No change on the sticker other than the date change. Perhaps there's a rhyme or reason to it but doesn't seem to indicate much.
Hell no, Ford's problem with this car right now is that there are too many people trying to buy it. Ones that hit the lots are going for $60k-100k. Manufacturing issues aside, this ain't going anywhere.
By build date do you mean 8/02 specifically or the week? My understanding was that the blend date was the date on which car was "blended" (i.e., introduced) into the line.
So they swapped out the wheels? Any chance you got a picture of it with the leveling kit and the smaller wheels? I'm considering it myself, but don't plan on getting new wheels and am concerned that'll look weird.
They likely at least got some kind of invoice, right?
Tell us you paid MSRP+ without saying you paid MSRP+.
