Because this was Fords solution to deal with the fact that they took tons of orders from customers for hardtop Broncos and then launched their SUV with a defective top that they had to pull from production. Ford added "free hardtop prep kit" and encouraged people to remove the hardtop from the...
Ugh. Sorry, I was hoping to be one of your customers but the price I had in my head was around $3800 and I really don't feel that was unreasonable when considering that all I wanted was a simple 1 piece unpainted top with no wiper or defroster.
Probably the best thing you can do at this point is buy another used car to replace the one that you sold. This time, hang on to it until you are in actual physical possession of the new Bronco.
Try to mitigate your losses as much as possible by buying the most basic and inexpensive...
Its just a failure in the Bronco's design, and I don't think that there is anything that can be done at this point.
The rear door is not an occasional use item for me because just about any time that I'm driving I have my two kids with me. I'm considering buying some of those overpriced fender...
Has anyone figured out for certain what part Ford is missing due to the chip shortage?
I've heard that it's the auto start/stop, but as far as I can tell that's more of a rumor that has been accepted as opposed to something that has been officially confirmed...
I've never paid for any kind of extended warranty or additional product protection on any purchases I've made in my entire life.
In fact, I recently took all of the money that I saved over the years on extended warranties, and I bought a Bronco
The most pathetic thing is that they are adding a $20k ADM on inventory they don't even have. They have 14 Bronco's listed and they are all "in transit".
I wonder if anyone here ordered through this stealership?
Ok, so I should feel ashamed that I bought a Bronco to drop my kids off at school because it's meant for climbing rocks and fording water. Also, the Bronco's in these pictures are being reduced to little more than a rusted out, rat infested moldy beater thanks to Ford's completely unreasonable...
I don't know. Tesla isn't something I really pay much attention to. I did a quick search in the news and what you are saying conflicts with this article that was published a couple days ago...
Maybe I'm the only one, but I actually don't care how much the dealerships jack up the price of their inventory. If they have a lot full of vehicles that are all priced $20k above MSRP, fine. I'm not paying that, but good for them if they do find people willing to pay that for the convivence of...
Yeah, but my understanding is that nearly all of Tesla's profit actually comes from selling emissions credits to other car makers. In fact, I believe that they lose money on the cars they sell.
If the other automakers reach a point that they are selling enough electric cars that they no longer...
Agreed.
You really didn't realize that my fictional character was panicking because he was afraid the snow would get into his soft top? Why on earth did you think that I was talking about the body? Snow getting past the soft top is quite literally the sole topic of this entire thread so it...
The Bronco is built tough. When you have a Bronco, you can go anywhere. You can drive up the side of a mountain. You can jump over a sand dune. You drive through a river. You can....you can....wait...what's that? Is that....is that snow?
HURRY! WE HAVE TO GET THE BRONCO INSIDE THE HEATED GARAGE...
I'm 43 and I bought my first brand new car when I was only 20 years old. I just sat down and figured out how many car purchases I have made over the years and if I weed out the the cars I've purchased from a private party, I found that I' still made a total of 12 purchases from dealerships with...
