Sorta said it yourself. Spacer lifts don’t limit down travel so you find yourself (Offroad) under load in all sorts of overextended situations that does cause harm/wear/damage to joints, bushings, etc. The only lifts that don’t really change any angles are portals and body lifts. Exceptions...

That’s a strange one. In my case all other light functionality was totally normal except for the marker lights and it was uniform left to right. Were you able to get it working again?

Definitely remove the front end caps and also swap out the rear bumper to anything narrower and it looks a lot better. I went cheap and got the Havoc rear bumper and looks/works great IMO.

Congrats!! Wife and I have really been kicking the tires on trading in the 6th gen for a truck and then picking up a true wheeler and something we can actually work/weld on (and not just bolt on…) ours 6yo son really loves stuff like that after watching some trail mater YT vids lol. Jealous!
