Thanks.
Dealership is not doing the repair work. Ford is fixing the vehicle in some capacity, but not saying where or how or who. So when it arrives at dealership it will be repaired but we wont have any notes on it.
I'm in this same boat with a few other folks (think 5 total) and trying to figure out options.
Reservation from the first 24-hours.
(July 14, 2020) reservation @ 0805 am EST)
(May 15th) Built in May, 2022
(June 7th) In transit from the plant to dealership, (still in control by Ford), it was hit...
Wow, dis they say what happened or how it happened?
Did those pictures come from dealer or from Ford?
Did dealer have to fight to get you Ford points or were they just offered by Ford?
Also have you checked a carfax report? Does it now show the repair?
Im dealing with similar situation, thx.
Sad summer :(
Now I know why my transport has had had no updates since June 6 and sitting in KC,MO
....but it looks like your Bronco had some damage during transport. I haven't been able to see it or know what the extent of it is, but once I have a better idea, I will let you know....
Ill be fabricating a custom rack and need pics of the brackets please that seem to slip under the panels and mount the MIC. Also the front brackets, although they seem simple. Also, what is the thickness of material of the brackets for the MIC, it seems < 1/4, perhaps 3/16? thx
UPDATE: I...
Likely you have a low battery.
If it's been sitting in garage a bit and not daily driven then the battery has dropped lower than what auto/start/stop requires.
If you go take a nice long drive and it charges back up, i'm sure you'll be lucky enough for it to turn back on.
This happens to us...
Were you getting updates from the Bronco team or CSX tracking automated phone system?
I am calling CSX giving my car letters and then numbers. It it took that path I stated.
Maybe it's possible it was dropped in Omaha, and the train car moved onward.
Maybe i'll call the Bronco team for status...
Thats strange. As I've been calling every other day and mine went:
Omaha, NE (May 31)
Lincoln, NE (June 4)
Kansas City, MO (June 6)
So wondering what's goin on. Perhaps you meant DesMoins when you said Omaha?
Will the CSX automated system actually tell you "emptied and delivered to customer"?
Mine still says Kansas City, MO since the 6th. (final dest == Granger)
I owned a 2015 manual tacoma, it was fun but gearing was not right in my opinion. Also had some sort of hydro lock in the tranny and it had to be replaced at 1k.
I swapped for a 2016 automatic and dear god those things are slow. It shifted like junk, amd ended up being 2qt low on tranny fluid...
If i dont change my own oil, i mark my filter with a sharpie or spray paint so i know if it was changed. Ive has 2 events where they drained the oil and did not change filter. Same with tire rotation. I scrape letters into the tire with my fingernail.
90% of the time i do all of it myself
