  3. 2025 Manual Transmission Thread

Unless you’re putting that thing on a Dyno, you’ll never be able to tell the difference. A couple of horsepower will not be noticeable.

Nice. Are the flares and bumpers next?
  5. Can’t stop redlining the 2.3

My 2018 Ford Mustang GT is a slug at low RPMs compared to my eco-boost engine vehicles. It’s the only thing I don’t like about it. You have to rev that thing to get any power out of it.
  6. Can’t stop redlining the 2.3

Your obsession will end soon because the engine will get tired of that crap and will stop you from doing it at some point.
  7. GMC Jimmy is under development

Unfortunately, GM doesn’t have a V8 that won’t destroy itself with that silly cylinder deactivation.
  8. 🚨 JUST RELEASED: 2021–2026 Ford Bronco Wireless SecuriCode Keyless Entry Keypad 🚨 - Infotainment.com

I got the dealer installed factory option on my 2025 with the manual transmission and this is exactly what the unit looks like that I have. The dealer programmed it for me because I didn’t wanna mess with it and then I stuck it on horizontally right above the door handle where it should be. In...
  9. 🚨 JUST RELEASED: 2021–2026 Ford Bronco Wireless SecuriCode Keyless Entry Keypad 🚨 - Infotainment.com

I got the dealer installed factory option and this is exactly what they installed and it’s on a manual. They programmed it and I stuck it horizontally on the door right above the door handle where it belongs. Works great.
  10. "I Do Cars" Teardown of 2022/110k mile 2.7L EcoBoost from F-150 with obliterated piston

Abuse and neglect caused it more than likely. We use these engines in trucks for work. We break them in gently, change the oil early and often, and never run them hard until they’re up to full operating temperature after they’re broken in. We’ve had multiple trucks run for hundreds of thousands...
  11. Show off your 2026 build progress! What’s new so far this year?

Forgot one other mod or addition. I got a special hitch to take advantage of the Broncos massive towing capacity. You might have to zoom in to see it.
  12. Show off your 2026 build progress! What’s new so far this year?

Tires, wheels, Eibachs, lights and a few old man accents.
  13. No V-6 Two Doors??

Can’t we all just get along? I love station wagons. I have a cool station wagon. But Broncos are two doors and they always have been. And don’t get me wrong, I love the Ford flex with the eco-boost power but if I’m going to drive a bronco it’s going to look like a bronco, not a Ford flex.
  14. No V-6 Two Doors??

I have two 2 door Broncos and I have both engines. The 2.3 is adequate but the 2.7 is an absolute rocket compared to the 2.3. If you so much as tap the throttle of the 2.7 the front end rises and your head goes back. Moving the throttle of the 2.3 is a test of your patience.
  15. No V-6 Two Doors??

The two doors look like a bronco and while I actually liked the performance of the 3.5 eco-boost Ford flex, I don’t want a bronco that looks like a Ford flex.
  16. Sigh - I Know This Dance

If they’ve done the repair even one time during warranty, and it didn’t take care of the problem, the dealership is on the hook to fix this until it’s right.
  17. Infotainment screen recall #26S09 (Infotainment Screen Blank) - 3/5/26

Oh my, how will I ever be able to drive my vehicle without the rear camera?
  18. Uncomfortable front seats! What is the solution?

Our two door Broncos are our preferred road trip vehicles because we love the manual seats so much.
  19. Wireless Key Entry Pad location

The keypad is one of my favorite features. I do use the app from time to time, but it is clumsy and slow compared to the keypad.
