  1. Recommend tire pressure for logging roads?

Agree on the the compressor recommendations. I use a Viair compressor with clips to the battery. Uhhh, NO on pulling the valve core! They are small and you'll be airing down over dirt or gravel and they are easily lost. If you do this you need to carry multiple spares. Get a proper...
  2. Recommend tire pressure for logging roads?

For 70 miles of dirt road I would not hesitate to drop to 15-20 psi. If it's a washboard road you'll be be glad you did! Just make sure you have a means to air up - compressor or CO2 tank - before you make the return trip on pavement.
  3. Old vs New - Anyone know the model year?

73 or later based on dash.
  4. Bronco vs. F150

    2022 Badsquatch and 2005 F150 FX4 works for me!
  5. Mabett Giveaway: What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve done with your Bronco?

Hell's Gate, Hell's Revenge, Moab, Utah.
  6. Thoughts on a Future Trim Configuration

It will take a substantial re-engineering of the rear tub structure, the hard top, and the tailgate. The glass in the tailgate can be a pain in the butt. I have a '78 that has had issues with the tailgate glass so I'm familiar with some of the issues. That said, the 78-96 style tailgate...
  7. WarHorse Brace (The mod I didn’t know I needed)

Thanks. Too bad as it's a good product. Also too bad that they have apparently scammed my friend out of her money!
  8. WarHorse Brace (The mod I didn’t know I needed)

First, I have the Warhorse tailgate limiter and it works great. I helped a friend order one a couple months ago. We both kind of forgot about it and it has never arrived. I sent an email a few weeks ago and no response. I just tried to get on their website and the site has "expired". Same...
  9. Badlands on 33's vs 74Weld Portals on 40': Rubicon Edition

Great video! I'm a bit surprised the non-SAS Badlands did so well.
  10. stock tires in snow

My stock SAS tires have performed very well in the snow and ice here in Colorado.
  11. Factory AUX Switch wiring sure seems thin…

If the lights you want to install draw more amps than the selected switch is rated for you need to use a relay. The wire size is sufficient for what each switch is rated. Yes, LEDs do typically draw less power.
  12. Trim Ring Questions 23 Wildtrack

I would not say they are purely cosmetic. They function to protect the wheel. Imagine wheeling without the rings and getting the gouges (shown above) directly on the wheel. Gouged rings can easily be replaced.
  13. Tourist in New Broncos heading to Colorado

Agree with @FoCoBronc, to expand a bit: Ouray is too far for a day trip, but Buena Vista is not. Lots of good trails around BV. Close to the Springs for nice day drive is Phantom Canyon. Visit Cripple Creek and Victor (old mining towns) and then Phantom Canyon to Canon City and do Skyline...
  14. Help me pick some trails in Moab, UT?

I believe it's just Canyonlands that has a no pet policy on all off road and hiking trails. And Arches NP on the hiking trails.
  15. Help me pick some trails in Moab, UT?

We're heading to Moab in a couple weeks and Elephant Hill was high on our list of new trails to try. But the "no pets" rule has nixed that! We have 6 vehicles going - 3 Gen6 Broncos and 3 JK/JL Rubicons - and we all have 1 or 2 dogs! Can't leave them back at the rent house for the whole day...
  16. Help me pick some trails in Moab, UT?

Agree with the above suggestion of Fins N Things. A great all-around trail that is good for beginners even though it's considered a moderate trail. It has a bit of everything: Sand, slick rock climbs, fins. Enjoy!
  17. First road trip in the 24 Wildtrak - hoss 3.0 is unreal.

Not doubting the improvement you are reporting for the Hoss 3.0 setup but your Badlands SAS must have not been setup correctly. My ‘22 BadSquatch drives/handles great at 85 plus mph. I’m sure the Hoss 3.0 would be an upgrade.
  18. Satellite Radio issues?

I do this on occasion. Problem is it makes it harder to change channels or find channels.
  19. Unheated LED headlamps are dangerous.

It's an LED headlight issue. I've had the same thing happen a couple times. I've upgraded to the new Oracle heated headlights.
