  1. Ditch lights

I run mine with ditch lights on the A pillar through touch car washes probably weekly. No issues.
  2. Bronco Headlights in Snow

Just curious, how many of the above listed cars had LED headlights? Probably none but possibly the '17 and '19 VWs? Agree, stopping in the middle of a snow storm to de-ice your headlights is a big deal and can be dangerous. I had to pull over several times on I25 in Colorado before I bought...
  3. Bronco Headlights in Snow

I bit the bullet last winter and installed the Oracle heated lights. Expensive but they work well.
  4. CB radio

I have switched, and all my off-roading friends have switched to GMRS. MUCH better on the trail than CB especially here in CO where the trails are really line of sight. I have a mounted unit in my 76 trail rig and I use a handheld in my '22 Badsquatch. Just curious, for those of you still...
  5. Hands on Steering Wheel Message

Never had it happen 'cause I never use lane keeping!! LOL
  6. Just Tired of my 2022 Base Sasquatch Problems

Agree with others - if you like the Bronco (when it's running good!) then trade it in on a new(er) one and transfer the upgrades to the new Bronco. Mine has 60K + miles and only issue has been the heater motor which was replaced under warranty.
  7. Bronco FPORV Package Concept debut at SEMA 2025

Kinda cool with some nice upgrades. Nice blueprint for do it yourself mods. I am too puzzled why they would drop 2 of the upfitter switches. I use all 6 of mine and could use 2 more!!
  8. Planning my 1st trip to Moab. Advice/suggestions ?????

Yes, that's the one! She had a couple minor scrapes and her dog was terrified, but nothing serious. After this I tried to get her to buy a Bronco but she ended up getting a 392 Rubicon. We kid her that she can now go farther up the wall! I was spotting her and she did a great job coming down...
  9. Planning my 1st trip to Moab. Advice/suggestions ?????

We had to use him when we were there this past May. Great guy and surprisingly very reasonable cost for recovery. A Jeep in our group rolled on the waterfall on Poison Spider. Totaled the Jeep. He got it off the trail and back to his lot in 2 hours!
  10. Planning my 1st trip to Moab. Advice/suggestions ?????

As mentioned earlier, Fins N Things is a fun trail that is not very difficult. It will give you a good taste of what Moab has to offer. Hell's Revenge is also a great trail and is not difficult if you avoid the obstacles. Both have enough traffic that you'll not be "alone" on the trail.
  11. 5,000 mile / 14 day trip from Houston to Glacier, Yellowstone, Canyonlands, other parks (photos and report)

Got it! Yes, I've driven by it a number of times heading to St Elmo and Tincup Pass. I'll need to stop and check it out better next time I'm near Salida/BV.
  12. 5,000 mile / 14 day trip from Houston to Glacier, Yellowstone, Canyonlands, other parks (photos and report)

Great trip report! We hit some of the same areas on our RV trip a few weeks ago. Also you must have driven very close to us on your leg from Capulon to Salida. Where exactly is Cascade Falls? Thanks for posting!
  13. New Portals by BroncBuster!

I'm wondering how wide a Raptor on portals will be??
  14. Bronco Roadster Concept : Continuing the 60th Anniversary Observance

Jeeeeez, people, it's a beautiful concept not intended for production or to meet any safety standards. I think they did a great job of capturing the essence of a 1966 Roadster in modern form.
  15. Uwharrie Run

We use to go there when we lived in Virginia years ago. Very nice park but as I recall it has the slickest mud I've ever experienced!
  16. Bronco Roadster Concept : Continuing the 60th Anniversary Observance

Awesome work. Closest "retro" version yet!
  17. Overlanding possiblity

Agree with @Montana Bronco , overlanding is not hard core wheeling. An OBX is certainly capable of getting you to remote camping spots. One distinction for "camping" is that "overlanding" usually involves multiple remote campsites while traveling backroads or trails as opposed to setting up...
  18. Dusy-Ershim Trail Trip Aug 3-8, 2025

Thanks for setting the bar on trail write-ups! Looks like a great trip.
  19. Wild ride off cliff... I hadn't seen this one before.

The angle of the camera makes this look a lot worse than it actually was.
