I think the suspicion is that if you got one of these during the week it meant you weren't getting scheduled. I think this has been debunked but my heart did sink a little yesterday when I got the off-roadeo email again.

Since there are two different answers, I will break the tie breaker. According the FAQ's on the Ford website, you will get some form of price protection. What seems to be up in the air is how much you can alter your order and lose the price protection.

Hope you’re right. Converting those never ordered reservations would only muck up the current orders on tap. Although there may be a good number waiting for the mod top that could convert since the top isn’t happening this MY and those reservation holders still might want a Bronco.

That’s some crazy cross shopping but either one should be fun. The GR should hold value well.

There’s plenty of people who got their orders converted asap and not scheduled. It’s random Ford crap and allocations. Plain and simple.

Constraints and allocations will play a huge role. I have a bad feeling that the large dealers who have cleared out the lower trims on their order sheet will be receiving lots of lower trim stock vehicles to fill their allocations while constraints really delay orders from small dealers and...

I have been contemplating dropping Lux to High in case the chips are still a problem and there a few features on Lux I don't care to have. But I don't want to rock the boat on price protection until it becomes clear what we can and cannot change and keep PP.
