12/22 blend date and sub delete is on the window sticker. Throws out my plan to upgrade the amp and sub speaker itself in the OEM box.
Anyone with thoughts on swing gate (tailgate) mounted sub versus sourcing B&O OEM box and upgrading that unit? I am thinking about mostly audio quality and...
Exactly. So we can try to source OEM aftermarket. Or there are a few quality custom type boxes ($$$) that fit in that space. If someone were to mass produce something of good quality that fits in that space for under $500, then they could make some good money.
12/22/2022 build date per chat with estimated delivery of 1/07/23 which would be unusual coming to central Texas but anytime before mid-February would be okay. Hopefully factory staff don't get "Christmas-itis" for these pre-Holiday builds. ;)
I plan on upgrades to all the speakers on my high package audio. I wanted to retrofit the 2023 base subwoofer enclosure with a better sub and amp like people have done with the B&O system sub. The $250 won't cover another enclosure in that same area. Maybe a tailgate solution or custom box in...
There has been chatter that 1) Ford may process into 2023 if you already have a build date scheduled (via another forum member summary of a CS chat) and 2) that Ford might reissue the offers after the first of the year to extend the private offer.
I have a build date supposedly next week and...
It’s had a lot of problems and often missing detail. Supposedly I’m getting built week of 12/19 and that website still says my order is “confirmed”, that’s it. Many people on here have had problems with delayed or no information through that VIN tracker.
Build week 12/19. Maybe ignorance is bliss. It’s not like the rest of the process has been a complete mystery. This is going to put a lot of strain on customer service/chat. At least I have a build week notification.
It sounds like orders going forward may have the delete items. Maybe current orders not scheduled would have the delete items and but I' be really confused if there are items deleted on vehicles currently scheduled for production. But this is Ford, so who knows. The credit given for the items...
Seems like the Bronco will be one of the last recent vehicles to come off the high demand, supply shortage, price mark-up, delayed shipping status. Other manufacturers seem to be catching up little by little. Think of all the money you're saving by waiting 300-800 days (ducks for cover).
A MagSafe device/charger and MagSafe compatible can be two different things. We would want to know if an Iphone with a Magsafe compatible case can still charge on your aftermarket device?
Just checked. Nope.
But I have this nagging thought that one day I will click on it and it will go through to a messge that says, “Psych! LOL! You’re not getting your Bronco until next summer.”
There's a Youtube guy who slightly modified a Passport and that thing is very adept offroad. Lots of people are very impressed with Honda's AWD systems in the Pilot, Passport, Ridgeline. The recently redesigned Pilot is no Bronco but Honda has moved the needle to more off-road capability.
Same boat. Will be pleasantly surprised if the build dates emailed out stick and also prepared to see my order build date pushed to after the holiday break. But there is a VIN and confirmation from my dealer.
It really depends on what "value" is. The Bronco will retain its value much better than the Outback. For a Denver daily driver such as yourself, the Outback is definitely the better value choice. Better fuel economy, comfort, etc. I will daily the Bronco but I drive less than 20 miles per day...
That is interesting. I anticipate the 12/19s getting pushed to January. There's no way to really tell the overall reservation to walk in ratio based on the spreadsheet. We are a selective group of order holders and there are likely many reservation or walk ins that have no clue about bronco6g. I...
