Ford's own FAQ on MY2023 states you have some form of price protection if ordered prior to 3/11/2022. I would imagine it will be a new certificate per order. It looks like we will have to wait 2 months to see it actually in action.
Hopefully that comes out in the FAQ's. Most threads discussing this say the only price protection that remains is on orders prior to 3/2021. The previous Ford information release alluded to this. That also makes my 12/2021 Wildtrak order $4500 more than my initial order BUT the 2023 now...
I think it will happen for the overall used car market. We are in interesting times with the new car constraints and the highly desirable nature of the Bronco. It may be the last mass produced (semi-mass produced LOL) vehicle to come down to earth on pricing.
The Bronco has crossed into that...
I wonder what percent of Wildtrak orders are outstanding vs other trims. This thread, although anecdotal, makes me think the percentage is quite high. Of course, this trim has multiple constraints.
And why Ford should have arranged to have reservation holders’ orders delivered independently of allocation but with the understanding that constraint items would exist. If you were the next Wildtrak up, your order should have been delivered even in Podunk, MS. And I say this without a...
Ford has smart enough people to figure out how to craft a message and create some good will without tanking their stock. Brand image is significantly valuable in this economy. 90K ADM on Ford Lightning and 2 year delays on the Bronco say volumes to the public. Ford keeps stepping on their own...
My same question from a couple of months ago. How do they prioritize orders for conversion and COVP? If my dealer farts around and doesn't get my order converted as soon as the order bank opens, do I lose my spot in line? Will the dealers be throwing in a bunch of base trims for retail sale and...
Well, they are having production issues so they should communicate.
Do you work in a customer service forward industry? Would you go to a popular restaurant and check with the host table and just sit and wait for 4 hours while other people walk in and get seated immediately? Would you wonder...
We have a better chance at predicting the outcome of the Superbowl and the college football championship than who gets a 2023 Bronco especially if you don’t already have a 2022 order.
You have a better chance if you order a soft top 2.3 Big Bend with minimal accessories from a large dealer...
Add another probable constrained trim? No thank you. I will seriously look at what constrained items I can take off my current order. Lux vs High, maybe even trim change. I am not confident I can get my current order prior to Spring/Summer of 2023 even with a 12/2021 order.
Score on the Tremor without ordering. If you have a Wildtrak coming before the 2023's start getting delivered, you likely can flip for a profit and probably at least break even on the bet. Most Wildtraks are heavily constrained.
