  1. Built a rear deck for 2D Bronco.

Yeah. Nice platform, but I want to see a pick of the truck. :)
  2. Help with badlands new wheel offset.

I have non SAS Badlands and went with +18 offset which I think is nearly perfect. I wouldn't want any more poke. I found one wheel that I liked with a +25 offset which I think would have been perfect, but I liked this wheel better, with +18. Personal opinions here. I was surprised by how much it...
  3. How long did it take to receive retail price protection?

Mine was reflected in the price I paid from the dealer. Was about $3000 on mine. No issues.
  4. Pics: Roadmaster Flat Towing Fits OOTB

I used the same adapters for the D ring mounts on the Roadmaster Sterling tow bar I already had. I found a problem with the style of pins used to lock the large pin into the mounts. The wire separates where it loops into the top of the pin and the wire falls off. Not sure if this description is...
  5. Researching feasability.. Replace vinyl with cloth.

Would be simpler to put good cloth seat covers on it. My MGV seats will get pretty hot when the sun shines on them, so was looking for a very good cloth seat cover. I went with Carhartt PrecisionFit cotton seat covers. So far, so good. Something to consider.
  6. Headrest is too far forward

Mine only bothers me when wearing a hat. Didn't think about turning them around, which I will now do when I'm wearing a hat.
  7. Clear PPF Film Protective Wrap for Painted Surfaces on Bronco Raptor

I just did my 2 dr Badlands. Did all the painted surfaces except the tailgate, plus the headlights. Did not do the door sills, but I added the factory doors sill guards. It was $2350 and included ceramic coat on every surface that didn't get PPF....top, flares, grill, tailgate, windows, etc...
  8. Tie rod sleeve install - send help 🤣

I'm about to add mine. Isn't there enough movement in the knuckle (swing like turning) to just unthread the inner tie rod from the outer without removing either? That's what I'm going to attemp.
  9. CYBER ORANGE Bronco Club

It is amazing how shiny it looks, like a permanent really good wax job. It wasn't as expensive doing it right away because it didn't need paint correction first. Shocked me at first to think about spending that kind of money, but what it provides over a long time period is pretty impressive. Was...
  10. Minimal recovery kit contents?

Most of us haven't carried a high lift jack in a long time. A hydraulic jack or taller scissor jack under the axle will handle any tire change. A high lift comes in handy for more serious trail repairs. The last two times I was involved in using a high lift on the trail were to repair a broken...
  11. Minimal recovery kit contents?

You have rear tow points, don't you? Then you wouldn't need the receiver adapter. A D ring for the front is all you'd likely need. We've all gone to soft shackles, more versatile and much safer than the metal D rings. A tow strap and a short tree saver strap so you have your own. Any tool bag...
  12. CYBER ORANGE Bronco Club

They're being conservative, I'm sure. He was concerned about too much pressure sideways to possibly slip the film. I'm sure it goes with the film mfg recommendations. All good. I take it back in a week for him to go over everything a second time to make sure it's perfect after it settles in...
  13. CYBER ORANGE Bronco Club

Yep. I wanted shiny wheels, don't do black or gray, and these had a reasonable offset at +18. I have a set of 35" Wildpeaks sitting here to put on.
  14. CYBER ORANGE Bronco Club

I ended up deciding to do a complete wrap in PPF. I didn't even know about this stuff a few weeks ago. Mostly concerned with "desert pinstripes" as we call them, brush scratches from off road trails. However, the protection from rock chips, UV, bird crap, and other things made it seem like a...
  15. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Installed a wireless phone charger and holder. It's Tackform parts with a wireless charger/holder I already had. They have an adapter to go from the 20mm ball to the 17 mm ball on the phone charger. The charger was attached to the windshield, but this is much superior.
  16. Best way to fix Fuel Pump issue on trail?

Do we know, has the fuel pump failure been on both 2.7 and 2.3, or just 2.7? I'm just seeing that this has been an issue for a few people.
  17. Tehachapi Loop (California Hwy 58)

Had mine about a month now, also in Bakersfield. I was at the Tehachapi loop a couple months ago.
  18. Seat Cover Recommendations

BTW, these are the PrecisionFit, not the SeatSaver or Super Dux.
  19. MIC Noise Reduction Guide - wind sound- aka more (or less) cowbell please

I'm kinda wondering here that if the air can't get in to make wind noise the water should pretty much be staying out too. :)
  20. Seat Cover Recommendations

Here's a few pics. These covers come in either brown/camel color or gray. Since my interior is two tone black and gray, I went with gray. Also, this is the cotton duck fabric. Carhartt offers two fabrics, one cotton and one plastic/nylon. Since I'm doing this because the seats get really hot in...
