I was going to wait, but I had a 4wheelparts coupon code plus a 5% back deal through the credit card, so I ordered them about 6 weeks ago, they arrived about two weeks after ordering.
I haven't cracked open the brackets box yet since I don't trust myself not to lose something, but from what...
Well hot damn, I think I found the A-pillar lights I'm getting whenever the Bronco shows up!
Out of curiosity, is there any extra hardware required other than what is included with the SSC2 lights to mount to the threaded hole on the mirror arm?
Have plenty of cerakoted things in the safe but this is the first I've heard of doing this to a fender flare. Did you find a color code that was a good match for Ford's MIC plastic?
Edit- whoops, might help if I read the whole thread first
Well that's a rare thing, seeing someone try and 'save' the stock speakers in a car audio situation!
Do you have any pictures from your capacitor replacement?
Good to hear! Unfortunately mine is in rail yard purgatory about 15 miles from where I sit, so the steps at the moment are holding up the walls in the garage.
Thank y'all for doing the legwork on this one. Tentatively planning on going from the 315/70r17s to 35x11.5 Toyo AT3s as soon as I can rationalize ditching the goodyears, I'd hoped it would be a small enough width change to not need to mess with this, but good to know there are proper solutions...
I went with the GoRhino DSS steps/sliders based on pictures and feedback from the forums here, I'm hoping it will be enough of a ledge for my 4 and 5 year olds without being a shin-killer for myself. If it doesn't turn out to be enough, I'll probably swap them out for the D6 model.
Still in rail yard purgatory it seems, since last Tuesday, and all of 30 miles south of where I live. By most accounts it’s a perpetual, rolling delay in Pearland, they’re getting more in by rail than they can ship each day.
Much obliged. There was a time in my life when I would have spent a fair bit more time and effort getting such things exactly where I want them, but anymore, the prospect of ‘85% of the way there for 40% of the cost’ appeals to me greatly
Been the case with BMW manuals as well, not like output is dialed back, but there’s definitely an intentional delay on throttle tip-in when you’re in Comfort. I suppose it’s an attempt to smooth out starts from a stand-still, but it drives me nuts.
For daily driving I really wish I could have...
Definitely this. Every Ford/Lincoln product with a slushbox made in the last couple of years becomes a much more companionable vehicle by putting it in sport mode.
Just for the record I say it in jest, if I woke up and found another car's worth of garage had sprouted from the house overnight, we'd probably put an EV of some flavor in it.
And apparently 4. People hate the transmission you chose, although I guess that bleeds into #1
I really thought I left that shit behind from the BMW groups, but it seems to be worse here.
Speaking of,
That's a bold statement coming from someone with a vacuum cleaner with wheels on it as...
