Your dealer didn't include at least one or two oil changes/services when you bought your Bronco?
Mine threw in 4, I just took my Badlands in for it's first oil change at 1,250 miles on the odo. Next one will be at 5000 and every 5000 after that, with tire rotations.
Well, Holy Fucking Shit. My build got scheduled. Just a few days shy of TWO YEARS since I made the reservation. Will wonders ever cease?
BUT....I already bought one. A month ago, off the lot. Everything I ordered (2 door, V6, Sasquatch, Carbonized Gray), plus a bunch of extras stuff (leather...
I'll say it again, like I say every week
for those who don't know me...
It's the simple things in life,
like Fords' apathy and outright lies
that piss you off the most
and then you lose control
the one you want just won't appear
the dealer shakes his head and says "Don't fear,
wait another...
Bronco coffee mugs and/or Yeti tumblers/coolers are desirable.
I just spent an entire day going through the Henry Ford Museum, and I recommend it. I'd like to take a tour of the MAP but it's not offered.
Well, yes, but also, no. Kinda.
I have a 2022 Badlands, and a '71 that's been a restoration project for several years.
My married daughter has a 2022 Outer Banks, same color as my Badlands.
It would be what everybody really wants in a REAL Bronco. It would be called a Basic model, and it really would be Basic:
V8. Manual. Analog gauges. No screen on the dash. Manual windows and mirrors. Honest to goodness transfer case shifter stick. Real tailgate that opens down like a tailgate...
That's the New Bright 1/8 scale. It's pretty awful cheap Chinese plastic, basically throw-away kids' toy grade. The body has pretty good detail (but no tailgate handle), fits most 1/10 scale chassis with a 12" wheelbase. Front and rear led lights.
I look at it this way - whatever ADM I paid was worth it to be able to actually drive a Bronco (maybe not the one I ordered, but better). Plus, when (if) the Bronco I ordered so long ago does actually get built and delivered, I'll flip it for whatever ADM I paid for the one I'm driving and...
Low hanging fruit. If Ford wasn't giving us so much easy material, we'd have to come up with something a little more original. Blame the newsmaker, not the courier.
The 4 door Soccer Mom Bronco Limo comes out later this year. Well, maybe. Probably more like 2023. If you remove things like the Tow package, tailgate folding table, and PPF it might get built sooner. Or, might not. Could end up on Dirt Mountain waiting on glue, or paint, or something. Just...
...and that's not it.
What's with the F350 "Camper Special" wheelbase? I get that it's a 4 door chassis, but hardly anyone gets the proportions right when they try something like this.
Rear wheelwells centered on the bedsides, ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS. Anything else just looks stupid. Either...
What is that bed from? A Courier? Old Mazda pickup? Ancient Toyota?
They could have at least used a bed from a Ranger. The front bumper has to go.
If that's the DED guys, I enjoy watching the show (mostly), but some of the choices they make....
Create a poll for this thread, let us vote for the changes we want in the next "mid-cycle refresh"/update for the Bronco.
Or, maybe 2 polls - one for changes we'd like to see (new colors, options, V8, etc), the other for getting things put the way they should have been from the start (a REAL...
