  1. ICON XD Forged Tie Rods

I agree, I do. Personally I think he breaks stuff intentionally so that he can market over-priced fixes. That being said, this is the example where that has happened. I'd like to hear if anyone has ever done it with 37s.
  2. ICON XD Forged Tie Rods

The BroncBuster guy has broken several. Not exactly sure what the circumstances were where he broke but it's definitely a case where he beefed up the tie rods so other stuff started breaking instead. Stage lll heavy-duty passenger billet aluminum housing – Broncbuster (broncbustertx.com)
  3. ICON XD Forged Tie Rods

The end that connects to the knuckle is a tapered fit, doesn't have to be pressed in just tighten it down, they can be a pain to get out. The rack side just threads on to the end of the rack.

  5. Off-Rodeo type experience at Hot Springs off-road park

My off-road club has run down there in a couple of weeks, I can't wait. A couple of things here: First, the Off-Roadeo is pretty tame, it is literally a beginner's crash course. You're doing EXACTLY what you should do to build experience and confidence. As an experienced off-roader, I...
  6. Nothing to see here, move along

I hate to ask this but... Do you have a smoke detector in your garage that has a low battery (was your garage door open when you heard it in the driveway)??? 3 Reasons I ask: 1. You said you didn't hear it at the gas station. 2. You said it sounded like a smoke detector with a low battery...
  7. Sasquatch seems like alot$

The tires are really the only throw away item on the SAS package. Factory electric lockers, good luck buying e-lockers and having installed, you're likely gonna spend more than the package costs. Ya, I wish they did a 5.13 to better fit 37s but I understand why they didn't. And full skid...
  8. Sasquatch seems like alot$

I mean anyone who off-roads understands the value of the SAS package and how much of a steal it actually is. That being said, if you're not gonna wheel it then you may as well just get a spacer lift, throw on some fancy 20s (because the SAS 17s won't be cool enough) and some 35 r20s that look...
  9. The 6G is really a rockcrawler

YES! Love it, Wild Horses for the win!
  10. Tailgate is stuck shut!! 😡

The factory 35s are a very light tire. If you put 37s on you absolutely need to re-enforce the tailgate. That's 100% the problem.

First, I fully support "Tread Lightly", it's a part of off-roading responcibly. Yes "Avoid sensitive areas" is a part of "Tread Lightly" but that doesn't mean "NEVER GO THROUGH A STREAM/RIVER BED". Sometimes it's unavoidable (like if it's the only way through on an established route). If...
  13. Time to abandon my OEM SAS tires!

They really hold my Bronco back on a lot of trails. I wish I could afford to replace them right now.
  14. Got my Bronco, with only a 10 day wait time!

Mexico has a population of less than half of the US and the average yearly income is a fraction of what it is here. The number of people out there buying $60k cars just isn't that high.
  15. Unexpected 29 Hour Offroad Adventure With Our Bronco Badlands Sasquatch and Jeep JLUR-XR @ Charouleau Gap

So, what you're saying is this is what a badge of honor trail should be, EARNED, like really really f***ing earned. I kinda really want to do it, a lot (with the understanding that it's going to be stooopid hard).
  16. My gf thinks she's funny

The sticker reads: "Jeep, Bouncing Boobies Since 1941". 1941 is the first year the Willys MA went into production. Ya, I thought the same thing you did at first, but it didn't make sense.
  17. Thinking about trading in my bronco

The ONLY LOGICAL REASON to not go EV right now over ICE (in comparible applications) is range and maybe cost a tiny bit. I don't care about your political views or personal hang-ups, EVs ARE the future, better get used to it. I full well knew that my Bronco would be the very last ICE vehicle I...
  18. Thinking about trading in my bronco

You're probably not getting gas in those situations either. With some pre-planning you'd really probably be in about the same situation except you can't power much with a normal truck. At least you could keep your fridge running for several days, cook some food with the microwave,... with a...
  19. Thinking about trading in my bronco

How many times have you been without power for several days in a row? In my 37 years of life I can only tell you 1 time where we were down for like 4 days and it was a freak ice storm. The thing is I could have driven the 30 miles to my parent's house, where they had power, charged up, then...
  20. Thinking about trading in my bronco

"To appreciate how much electrical power the Lightning can provide, consider that even the standard-range version has a usable battery capacity of 98.0 kilowatt-hours, more than seven Tesla Powerwalls—a well-regarded home battery, The Powerwalls cost $10,500 each, while a base Lightning costs...
