Ended up going with the Expedition One slider steps. Definitely solid, but there’s more options out there now than when I bought these that might offer more.
I looked at a lot of winch bumpers over the past 1.5 years and at one point I had come down between the ARB Summit and Bodyguard Extreme. But both were more weight than I wanted to add, and I felt like Summit stuck out too far. So, I ended up ordering the Lobo Off Road winch bumper, though it...
Nice to know this setup works. I was in a similar situation with a non-Sasquatch Outer Banks and ended up going with Icon CDEV coilovers for the same reasons.
Same here, got a notice from the seller. Curious how Warn will handle sending out replacement remotes. I assume you have to have registered your winch to be eligible.
Not sure if anyone else noticed this but I saw there was a recall involving VR Evo remotes. Apparently there have been instances where the remotes got wet and the winch operated without user input. Just FYI

I realize I’m late on replying, wish I’d seen it sooner. Hopefully you’re happy with the RCI sliders. I don’t think they existed when I first ordered the Expedition One sliders but that seems like a great option.
Lol. I feel you man, that makes a lot of sense. I’ve actually got the tool, but unfortunately you’re probably a ways from me, as I’m down in Ellis county near Waxahachie.
I just want to make sure you know that Forscan is something that anyone can do. It’s a free license, you just need the cable to connect from a computer to the vehicle, which can be found on Amazon. If you’re already aware of that, my apologies, and please disregard.
I’ve had the same thoughts as you but I will probably end up mixing brands. I figure you can’t really see the front and rear at the same time anyways.
I just noticed today that Eaton has a limited slip (Truetrac) and Elocker option for the rear on Broncos without the factory locker. I could’ve missed it but I haven’t seen anyone on here post about it yet.
@Lobo Off-Road Hey Chris, I notice the webpage for this bumper now distinguishes between those with front parking sensors and those without. I could be wrong but I don’t recall that distinction before. How will that affect those that ordered before?
Thanks for responding quickly. I went ahead and ordered a bumper and skid plate from y’all last week but I guess it’s going to at least be next month before y’all are able to ship it. So, that’ll give me some time to get a different winch.
I finally got around to opening the box for the X20 Gen 2 and the turns out the paperwork has different dimensions than what’s online. According to that, the Gen 2 is 4.5 mm longer on the longer side than the VR Evo. You think there’s an additional 4.5 mm (.177”) on that side?
