I went with the winch bumper from Lobo, mainly because I was looking for something that didn’t stick out real far, and it would work with front camera and front sensors.
Similar to what’s already been said, I used ratchet straps to hold the tank, and then a floor jack with a cross beam to help get the plate into position.
I could be wrong but it looks like that bumper is actually made by True North Fabrications: https://truenorthfabrications.com/products/2021-6th-gen-bronco-front-winch-bumper
Good looking bumper though and reasonably priced.
You might check out Lobo Off Road if you haven’t already. I went with their winch bumper, which is low profile for a winch number, but they have non winch bumper that’s even tighter.

To add to what others said, Black Diamond models came standard with a rear locker, and was the only model Bronco that came standard with only a rear locker, though it was an option on other models like Big Bend and Outer Banks.
As others have said, it’s worth it. I did it mainly for the fuel tank plate, and ended up adding transmission and cross member plates from another company. Anything you don’t end up using, you can sell or give away.
I didn’t catch that earlier when you said M210 front end. I’m certainly no expert, but my understanding is that all M210 fronts have the ELD, and all the non-locking differentials for Bronco are M190. So, the OP likely has the M190 with the 29 spline. Only Sasquatch package (including Wikdtrak)...
In this video they installed air lockers in the front and rear, but don’t go into any detail on it. Far as I’ve seen, ARB hasn’t officially listed these part numbers as Bronco compatible (they are listed for the Ranger).
Copy that, so my proposal would not help you at all. I think it was already mentioned, but you need a new ring and pinion gear with the 4.46 ratio if you don’t want to do anything to the front. I haven’t looked but I’d imagine that ARB will sell you those as well as the air locker. Just curious...
I assume you have 3.73 gear ratio? I was having a similar dilemma, and one thing I considered was trying to find the front end from a Black Diamond or manual transmission Bronco that has 4.46 gearing. Might be something to think about, if you could find a used one. But may not be worth it to get...
I had this same problem for a while, and, in my case at least, I believe it was related to the bolts being over tightened. Vehicle was in to the dealer for a recall for the front driveshaft and it started squeaking after I got it back. Loosened everything and retightened with a torque wrench and...
Can the double honk be eliminated with the Ford tuner? I know it can be eliminated with Forscan, but just curious if that’s an added benefit of the Ford product.
I will second this on the Lobo winch bumper. I looked for quite a while, and when I found this one, I immediately pulled the trigger. I never found anything else that compared in terms not sticking out real far and/or being bulky. Also the owner, Chris, was very communicative in the meantime...
Just adding an additional perspective here… I’ve found myself in a similar thought pattern, wanting to have some additional capability if needed. When I ordered our Bronco in 2021, Sasquatch was a big constraint, and I thought the Bronco would have a better traction control system for off road...
I have the ASFIR transmission skid plate and ended up just cutting the plate on both sides to make space. Not the most elegant but it worked at the time.
There could be other companies as well, but Mishimoto makes high mount intercooler for Broncos. Here’s an example here: https://www.mishimoto.com/high-mount-intercooler-kit-2021-ford-bronco2-7l.html
Don’t feel bad about being new to something, everyone has to start somewhere. There’s endless accessories and modifications to make, so it’s pretty important to have an end goal in mind that you’ll be satisfied with and will meet your needs and wants. I think you’ll find as well, the more...
Curious what settings you used on the Curt bluetooth brake controller? I just recently used it on my Bronco and it was a lot more sensitive than when using on my pickup.
