I've got a similar B&D Pivot that plugs into the cigarette lighter and it's a work horse.

Colour matched painted hardtop or painted black hardtop. Stay away from the MIC hardtop. Ford & Webasto keep shitting the bed with the MIC top.

The problem with just sucking it up and DIY'ing a fix or going aftermarket is it will give Ford an excuse and more incentive just to never resolve the problem or find an alternative.

They need to update that Bulletin to include the 2024's because the issues persist.
