These MIC tops seem to inevitably need to be replaced under warranty. I would be worried that painting it (ie an alteration) would void the warranty and let Ford off the hook. On a related note I am hoping that the paint matched tops that will be showing up on new Broncos will fare better and...

Sorry to resurrect an older thread but has anyone found lug nuts (chrome or black) that have the same wide seating surface as the Ford OEM ones? I am not too worried about having locks so any standard lug nut will do as long as it has the same fit as the OEM.
