Yeah sometimes it’s very hit or miss on very specific vehicles for no absolute reason. I still need to circle back to getting lane centering working again I have a 2023 Ranger asbuilt I’ve been meaning to compare against since it looks similar to the one we have in the Bronco. This would flesh...
Yes the F stick is the same length by all appearances it seems. This again goes back to what I said about Ford submitting a tooling request for the dipstick to move the twist upward for “readability” concerns. Goes back to my theory they assumed the right one was installed but it wasn’t.
Yes you’re correct I just logged in and I even addressed the VSS in a post previously about the IPMB though there is also one in the IPMA and supposedly there are people changing them to get certain views to work but that was a bit ago so I don’t remember clearly and I think had to do with bed...
I can’t believe they went through the trouble of taking the existing FWD dipstick length and retooling it for the 7 quarts all to replace the correct one that nobody ever got. This is beyond science right here folks.
I am pretty sure the IPMA handles 360 camera. IPMB is for the reverse camera.
As far as the global close did you try connecting as a new vehicle and not as a saved profile? I actually don’t know if we’ve had any feedback regarding the 2 door so you may be running into a unique situation though...
Well there it is then. That’s the official re-tooled one. Now I’m absolutely sure they got complaints about “readability” from the dipstick, went back into the system and said MB3Z-6750-B is wrong then even though no Bronco ever shipped with that one. This is the downside of sooooo many...
Yes this one should be basically unchanged from the one you ordered. This seems to keep helping the case that Ford is trying to wash out the fact they sent the wrong dipstick to begin with.
Is that one stamped MB3E-6750-BC?
You're saying it’s the same length as the original dipstick that came with your 2.7? You had the FT4E one right? The length should be close but not the same. This one looks exactly how I’d expect it to look (identical to the MB3Z-6750-B) from what I can tell in...
I'm confirming it's in the plans. However I don't know if there will be follow through since I'm sure program marketing is waiting to hear back on how well the Carnivore is received
If any model is equipped with 4A it will default to that setting when entering Sport mode. You’ll have to manually switch it to 2H each time you go into Sport mode. This is the intended function and operation of the system
This is a Job 2 build? What’s the build date?
Looks like I can see the push pin the plug is mounted to on the bottom left of the crack/opening but not for sure.
As I’ve stated, and flip has kindly displayed, the dipstick engineering number was specifically tied to the Raptors 3.0 engine though it should carryover the same because nothing that I’m aware of was changed pertaining to the valve cover, oil pan, or oil capacity. Likewise 2.7 and 3.0 engines...
Did you order one? It’s likely the same thing just with a different number.
Even the original one went through two dipstick variants btw. Top one was from pre-production
