Pretty much the same impression I got.. definitely caught my eye from a distance as it approached with sort of a "WTF is that?" sort of vibe until I realized what it was. Front end is pretty snazzy.. better so than a typical EV IMO
Yeah I'd really like to stop and just look at one up close.. mostly out of horrified curiosity haha checks too many boxes in the "heck naw" category for me to ever be interested personally.
Saw my first new Hummer in the wild yesterday here around Houston.. down here for a few weeks. Oncoming traffic so no pic but the thing was YUGE.. I'm assuming they're driven by the same folks that are buying cyber trucks but maybe I'm painting with a broad brush
I'm in a pretty wavy back-woods part of the country anyway but I go out of my way to wave at: friends, neighbors, anybody who has clearly put a bunch of work into their ride no matter if its my style or not as I dig the effort. Its almost always reciprocated. Bonus enthusiasm if its muddy and or...
I think that's the key.. figuring out exactly what rate you need for your specific ride before buying something generic and being unhappy. Companies like Accutune make that easier. The springs aren't the problem..
I'm really happy with my recent haul of heavier Eibach springs for my Fox performance elite's but they came by way of Accutune who made sure I was getting exactly what I needed after much back and forth. Worked out great..
Yes you mix the glue and hardener then sort of brush it on. Goes on with the Viscosity of thick snot and then when dry is rubbery pliable. Works well on the half shaft cv that spins do id guess it'll perform well in this application too

So I've repaired many a CV boot with this stuff.. would imagine it would do a ball joint boot too.
For those not wanting to open the amazon link it's GearAid Aquaseal + FD
That's what I thought too but I had Radflo's for a year that mounted the resi's there and try as I might I could never manage to smack them on anything. Seems a decently safe spot though I tend to like where my Fox resi's are mounted now on the frame on the backside of the wheel well.
Hopefully I'm missing something at $795.. a couple shock skids and a plastic bushing should be cheaper than that. The tie rod braces are just paperweights.
'Twould appear inflation has struck the rack bushing market since I paid a lowly company $50 and got both sides a while back before they...
Not sure if you're talking about a true roof rack or just crossbars like some call a roof rack but in either case there's a zero percent chance i'd be taking that off twice a week. That would turn into an unsustainable joy-killer just to be similar to one of those folks that drive around with a...
Probably the easiest way to cause yourself some extra work here. Just cause its easy I'd definitely remove the axle nut and dead blow the half shaft loose.. but definitely not required for this job if you're halfway careful.
That said leaving the tie rod at least loosely attached to the knuckle...
