IF onlyā¦. For its simplicity Iād look at a naturally aspirated V8 sooo fast wouldnāt be funny. Preference would be the 5.0 to help the weight differential but hell yeah Id take the out-of-the-box ponies of the 7.3 were it and easy swap.
Yeah cost justificationās always been a thing with me. But...
Stage 3 is the goal and believe me, Iām counting the days. Never once bought extended warranty on anything. Ever. But to get MSRP, dealer held my Golden Ticket order hostage. Still wasnāt gonna play the game till I witnessed Lite Brite pickup theirs up right in front of me putting $30,k ADM...
Appreciate the input. I buy and hold my trucks and once my extended warranty runs out, whatever acceptable addons not already upgraded, I plan to add. As I do with all my other trucks, goal will be entire kit of cold air intake, intercooler, exhaust, tune, and am hoping by then Whipple (or...
Exhaust, and specifically from downpipe back. Theoretically,
Iāve dual residency in a state where glass packs and nothing else is acceptable so itād be theoretically possible. Theoretically. I realize tricking the PCM to be okay without a cat may kill the dream.
This blows me away only that as an industry outsider, iād have guessed the employee discount would be more substantial/incentivizing. Makes it sound like you can use the extra savings at Starbucks .
Steens are incredible country also. Did a trip up from NV through there to French Glen, then John Day area and up through JD North Fork area to attend a wedding in Ritter. Incredible country. Sad to hear of all the fires this year, incl that new one outside of Bend.
Welcome to the forum. While I donāt have the 2.3 or MT, I will say aside of a V8 option, the manual is the one thing I still wish I could have had in mine. All Iāve heard and read is good things about them and miss not having one. That said Iāve been really pleased with how mine has performed...
Will say, if anything like my childhood memories, I wonāt deny it partially led me to the Braptor. Ours had that rear diff locker w/V8 to burn effortless doughnuts. Was soooo awesome on wet roads!
Iām no prognosticator, but believe the US economy is in a āstubbed its toeā phase where itās already happened but the real pain hasnāt fully registered yet. If Iām right OP wins either way by waiting a little to see how it plays out, since I fully agree with considering a ā25 by Mar. next year @...
K ya, post that up once itās all back together. I want to see the matching grill. Maybe start it in a different thread though. Think I hijacked this one enough at this point. š
Nice! I think gloss black looks good on shadow black. Seen it and white on the road. TBH, Iām really interested to see spectrum colors with paint matched tops. Seen a couple but not all and tough to picture. Yours is the first shadow Iāve seen without all flares though (seen orange). Still blows...
Me personally, I think whatever rut our economy is in isnāt gonna end anytime soon no matter what admin gets in this fall. Thereās not enough positive signs for a possible quick turn around so I believe as it gets worse or extends longer, your buying power for luxury items will get better...
Thatāll be awesome memory's for you and your son. Bucket list stuff for many. Look forward to see where you head in UT and what you think. My stomping grounds.
Nick, I couldnāt find it but do you have a horizontal ski/snowboard rack for your spare tire carrier mount? Iām picturing something like this, but with rack clamps I stead of the box, rotopax platform:
Actually @vrtical your Vegas reference flew right past me. Apologies and Iāve now found morning clarity. Haha. š Since @Cactus Jack found all this at Offroadero Vegas, I went that direction and missed your gambling reference.
