  1. Heated Leather Wheel - Any Way to Add After Delivery?

Here in the Rockies I’ve ended up surprised by the comfort of heated steering. But I fully agree on a cooled seats (and wheel) option in summer. You’d think 105 degree arid heat here would be worse than high 80’s w/humidity, but I lived back east long enough to know better.
  2. Need trailer suggestions for towing can-am

I’m in the tandem camp also for all the many already listed reasons. I also strongly agree with not buying a box store unit unless you’re a really good welder/fabricator to completely fortify it, thus negating any savings from it. Like @BigMeatsBronco, I’d recommend a good aluminum tandem. And...
  3. Integrated electronic brake controller?

Brake wiring is there on tow package but you need to install an actuator. There’s a bunch of threads on here about adding one. Ford offers a unit so I’m sure your dealer can install if you want, but I agree with @RedShiftWT81650, not seen it offered from factory yet. I do differ a bit on...
  4. Reno to Vegas 500 Run with 5 Bronco

Feel the same about them. K02 is/was/has always been good and versatile for most terrain conditions and temps. But it’s also been around a long, long time. I think BFG stands on K02’s popularity a bit too hard and could likely do more to make stronger and lighter much like others do now. Maybe...
  5. Bestop eTop Power Soft Top for Bronco debuting at SEMA (Nov 8)

Guess I’m out of the loop but those flares are in fact gonna be an OEM thing then?
  6. Kicked off 3wk/5800mi Bronco trek with the Moab Off-Roadeo! UT, NV, CA, CO

Looks incredible. Love how you guys are just goers like that and I’m jealous of the length of time you can spend. And your gal seems the perfect copilot on adventures. Someday when my nest is emptied…
  7. Bronco auto lock

Gotcha. Couple years back had a college kid work for me with a newer F150 and he’d always just leave his fob in the console and as I recall his doors auto locked on exit and he’d always just use his keypad for entry. I’d myself never trust that for any/all the numerous obvious reasons, but gotta...
  8. Thoughts on removing Braptor Frame support for Flip Down Attic Shelf

^^^Out of respect for OP, moving this to its own thread in General Discussion…
  9. Thoughts on removing Braptor Frame support for Flip Down Attic Shelf

Not to hijack this thread but feel it still relevant info, I’ve wondered what type of off-roading is most prone to fast track the test limits of body twist on a wide-axle, narrow bodied vehicle. I come from the vein of the ā€˜70’s chev blazer which suffered both squeaks and cracking in fiberglass...
  10. Bronco auto lock

@Ducati1098 Do you know is there a Forescan setting for it? Don’t typically park in areas I need to lock doors but there’s occasions I should but forget out of habit. Between the app, FOB and keypad, I don’t see it ever locking me out.
  11. Thoughts on removing Braptor Frame support for Flip Down Attic Shelf

I agree. At least for me, I’m finding it’s the asymmetrical hits at intermediate speed (~30mph or slower) where I'm either braking hard on rough before a hard turn or miss seeing a double-up rut when I hit hard to one side and feel it’s testing lateral torque. I’ve not visibly verified I’ve...
  12. Thoughts on removing Braptor Frame support for Flip Down Attic Shelf

Theres other threads here about that brace and its importance. Some takeaways are it’s there (and not on regular broncos) to prevent body torsional flex both from Braptor having wider stance/axles and also being heavier than other trims. Also there for safety aspects. I personally make sure...
  13. Does the Bronco and Bronco Raptor Need a Transmission Tune & What Would You Pay?

Did they though? I mean that’s more to my point, that if you’re Ford and put out a specialty off-road vehicle (Raptor), wouldn’t you want your shift points to optimize that purpose? I’m not for sure Fords target demographic here and if most buyers just buy it to look like they’re hard-core but...
  14. Does the Bronco and Bronco Raptor Need a Transmission Tune & What Would You Pay?

@swamp2 You may think about splitting your survey out into on-road and off-road usage/preference. i.e. I don’t even notice my shifts but my usage ratio is mostly off-road where loose traction masks tranny activity. Even Sport mode (pre FP Procal) isn’t as abrupt going fast on gravel and is...
  15. Free Wheeling Package Debuts for 2025 Bronco

Not for me but I don't outright hate it. A family friend had a Gen4(?) on black (not gray) I thought was sweet AF as a little kid. I don’t hate the wheels either and seem like throwbacks to their mag wheels with fins they sent out on broncos back then. Looked good and were bombproof but your...
  16. 2 Days Exploring Trails In San Rafael Swell, Utah

I love this area and for this exact reason. Love Moab but it’s gotten so popular it’s tough to find a trail to yourself anymore.
  17. We BURNED OUR RIG DOWN! (Jk. But could have been bad). Fire extinguisher saves the day.

Uhhh… come again? Did I just find out you guys are from WY? Been picturing Cali this whole time. (The sierra’s have that effect.) What part of WY?
  18. We BURNED OUR RIG DOWN! (Jk. But could have been bad). Fire extinguisher saves the day.

Bro. That battery pic. Fugly. Glad it wasn’t worse and you handled it cool. Be a shame for yours to go up. With all your mods, yours is one of my favorites for its looks.
  19. 8-Day 4,000 Mile Round Trip to Southern Utah from Atlanta, Georgia

Nice! There’s also fun baja-type stuff and cool features in between that you may have seen/hit (Goblin Valley, Robbers Roost, the Swell and Bookcliffs). We’ve gone the south route before and blend off-road with/a stay on a houseboat. I assume you found Stan’s in Hanksville?
  20. Utah Road Trip with 7 National Parks and some Fun Offroading

Thats a mindblowing trip right there. I’ve hit those parks at different times but not all at once. Sensory overload. Can’t imagine the level of cool it was. Bucket list stuff.
