I mean, it's not really up to the dealer as far as locker use goes - you don't want to engage your front locker when your wheels are turned or you are performing a turn, especially on dry/hard pack or pavement.
I hope for you the dealer warranties it but I would avoid telling them you had the...
I think you answered your own question there then. You definitely did not want that front locked when you were attempting to make a technical/tight turn on hard pack with some traction. Heck, you might have been able to make the turn without trail turn assist - if your front wasn't locked.
I don't believe that the front axles lock when using trail turn assist. What trail turn assist does is apply braking force to the inner rear wheel to the turn you are making causing your Bronco to pivot on the rear tire instead of turning on an arc.
My 2022 BaseSquatch came with wavy/dented doors, a pushed in rear bumper, ripped seams in the soft top, a scratched rear passenger window, and the windows hilariously did not line up (each door had a different height).
None of the issues were fixed by Ford and I sold my Bronco after just 76...
I would definitely say it is best to give your vehicle time to warm up and for the idle to settle in - that being said my FIL starts his Tacoma and within 3 seconds of turning it in already slams it in drive - it is 12 years old and has 175k miles on it and still going strong.
As to how long...
Why? If they are going to give him a new engine under warranty that seems like a perfectly fine dealer.
He is under no obligation to take the advice of the service department in regards to the ownership of his vehicle.
The Jeep refresh really caught my eye and I was willing to give it a solid look but the pricing is....rough, and the interior still doesn't do it for me.
Bronco it is.
1. Every Ford Bronco has a front facing camera
2. Speed Sign Recognition - which displays the speed limit sign on the driver information cluster, uses the front facing camera which can be enabled in the IMPA module, it in no way shape or form utilizes GPS to determine the speed limit // This is...
It simply depends what you plan to do with your Bronco.
1. Does the BB have AdvancedTrac?
1a. Does your BD have AdvancedTrac?
If one or the other does not - I would stick with whichever vehicle has 4A.
2. Is a rear locker, rock rails, bash plates, and steel bumpers important to you?
I guess...
My 2023 Black Diamond (AdvancedTrac), 2.7, Mid Pkg, soft top, 4 door just finished production this week.
I have already declined it and ordered a 2024 Big Bend Sasquatch w/mid, bumper, aux switches, and signature lights.
My 2023 Black Diamond price = 49,822
My 2024 Big Bend Sasquatch price =...
"Fun Haver" had early access to the Bronco and support from Ford that legit no other 3rd party vendor had and you guys "kick the door" open late in 2023 with basically rip off products at a 175% mark up?
Holy shit am I disappointed I ever watched Loren and Vaughn with any kind of admiration...
