  1. New Allocation Adjustment by Ford - Needs Valadation

I just stopped by my very helpful dealer today and talked about my place in the MY2021 build line. I learned something about the process at Ford, and I'm requesting validation @Granger Ford @Zach@Granger on this information. First: I was close to missing out on the MY2021 being reservation 30...
  2. Order Code Meaning

10 is the new #1... 99 is time to worry.
  3. A little something I ordred for my bronco key fob

Not sure if you should have just one. Might need one in the Bronco too depending on the nature of your adventures. Also, might be a cheap low jack or Mall crawler location beacon.
  4. 10R60 (not 10R80) 10-speed automatic transmission for 2021 Bronco [update: confirmed in Ford parts system]

So, based on your observations, we can expect about 75k miles before breakdown... Seems about inline for most transmissions. Although subjective - here is a temp to failure correlation. source: http://www.txchange.com/heatchrt.htm
  5. Will this new Ford Bronco be your first Bronco?

Oh, after enough time you'll see why I quipped about the poll. We seem to have polls on everything. Even polls about polls, and polls about polls regarding polls. It's pretty funny.
  6. Will this new Ford Bronco be your first Bronco?

Why is this not a poll? Seems we missed a polling opportunity. So unlike B6G to miss a poll.
  7. New tee shirt

Details? Sure would like to find that while on vacation.
  8. 10R60 (not 10R80) 10-speed automatic transmission for 2021 Bronco [update: confirmed in Ford parts system]

  9. The Road to Nowhere: Getting lost in the desert in the new Ford Bronco (by Road & Track)

Yeah, 2-door glory... Stael the cover the right way!
  10. Bronco Backs Up Hell's Gate!

Maybe if he went backwards while towing a trailer I'd be impressed.
  11. Photo requests?

Photo of the door jam with the transmission code please. If the vehicle is running (on) and you have access to the display screen, please pull up the owners manual to the transmission page indicating what the transmission codes represent. Example (Page 394 of the 2020 Ford Explorer) of the...
  12. 10R60 (not 10R80) 10-speed automatic transmission for 2021 Bronco [update: confirmed in Ford parts system]

https://www.youtube.com/embed/UGwseZ9-U0M We are using the production transmission... 10R80? Racing with another transmission and calling it production grade is really low brow. Needs a corrective statement with new race results using the 10R60 to prove it's ready for the market.
  13. Duck Duck Jeep

    This!
  14. 10R60 (not 10R80) 10-speed automatic transmission for 2021 Bronco [update: confirmed in Ford parts system]

Honestly, we just don't know one way or another until we start driving - and drive more than 8000 miles (per TDS). What has me is that we were told something by the engineers and experts only to find that it's not. If the 10R60 is good enough to race with, then it's good enough for me to feel...
  15. 10R60 (not 10R80) 10-speed automatic transmission for 2021 Bronco [update: confirmed in Ford parts system]

If only the trans was as easily swappable as the wiper blades... yeah, I'd have something to say about crappy wiper blades.
  16. 2021 Bronco Parts Department Catalog Is Up!

Seriously not happy. We were lead to believe that it's a 10r80 based on the "racing" configurations and engineer comments. This sucks. Thanks for the response.
  17. 2021 Bronco Parts Department Catalog Is Up!

What's the transmission replacement part? 10R60 or 10R80?
  18. First Contact. A few observations.

Those look like chipped paint points on the swing arms. Is there still excess ware on the catch points for the tail?
  19. Ford X Plan for MY 2022?

From the last I heard, Ford is "considering" it. No answer yet... and I'm not surprised either. Still way too early to say anything especially with the inflation pressures we have coming in 2022.
