What is revealing to me is Ford must have known this and let it roll anyway. They haven’t gone out of their way to tell customers. They have to notice and complain. How many suckers are driving around with Mis builds and don’t know?

The process was simple. Just watch on YouTube follow the instructions. Use it all probably 7 coats. I watched Fonzie from hyperdip about 7 or 8 times.

I’ll also say I mounted the bracket to the winch on top of 2 nuts. You have to compress a rubber sleeve in the bolt hole to keep the waterproof ratings
it doesn’t mesh with the side view very well because I had to angle it up by a few degrees. I’m going to make a one piece bracket that goes a little higher by 3/4” or so and no kluge of bolts.
I used the harbor freight step but and it was very difficult. Took me a few hours to get through that 3/16” steel. On the left side I went with a hole saw done in 45 seconds.

It quotes a “Ford Motor Company policy”. I wonder if that is legit.. and if not does that void the contract? It does seem like it would be hard to enforce. I’d ask for a 1 year time limit on the contract and since they are giving him just a few days to mull it over I’d ask the dealer for 24...
