What is revealing to me is Ford must have known this and let it roll anyway. They haven’t gone out of their way to tell customers. They have to notice and complain. How many suckers are driving around with Mis builds and don’t know? Ford sucks what a shame.

I left them mounted. I didn’t see it being worth it to remove them. They are best painted upright anyway.

I’ll also say I mounted the bracket to the winch on top of 2 nuts. You have to compress a rubber sleeve in the bolt hole to keep the waterproof ratings

it doesn’t mesh with the side view very well because I had to angle it up by a few degrees. I’m going to make a one piece bracket that goes a little higher by 3/4” or so and no kluge of bolts.
