I have a 4dr hard top Jtops that was given to me, but I have a 4 dr soft top. Is there a way to make the hard top model work with the soft top bronco? @JTopsUSA

Yep these things for me. Bronco looks a awesome, definitely roomier. Sasquatch equipped compared to Jeep similar options, at least early 22 cheaper than wrangler

What happens to the engine other than noise? Does it cause premature wear due to cam position off, or is it just a noise issue?

OP : do what he did. Just replacing your dash speakers will help but the problem in the dash speakers aside from low quality is that the 4” speakers get the full range signal that any 4” speaker cannot handle. You must put in the bass blockers if you want a decent improvement. I would even...

Go with WildTrak. You’ll benefit from HOSS 3.0 every time you drive it the ride is way better. Swaybar disco can be done manually for a few times a year… and you’re less likely to break your tie rods or rack with WildTrak. No brainer

The good news is you don’t have to worry about what was wrong, or whether you’ll have an issue later related to the engine disassembly

I plan to rent an RV for the eclipse. We will drive close to the path and go NE or SW depending on the weather forecast 2 days before, and set up to be in the totality without any overcast.

I guess it depends if you use your telescope for more than the eclipse then the upgrade makes sense. Weigh how much use and enjoyment you’ll get from either one. I had to get OBX SAS because I couldn’t live with the low look and the skinny tires, plus I wheel mine every now and then.

I’d say lift your OBX. You can get the eclipse experience with a lower end telescope IMO. Filters are more important than power for looking at the sun.. A good telescope is better for looking at far away stars.

LOL point taken. However here we are complaining about 200k engine failure and maintenance to keep it going past then, but extolling the virtues of EVs when it’s tough to be getting past 100k miles before the battery has to be replaced at a cost of >$5k seems pretty silly. No maintenance you say?

Right. I love electric cars except when the battery fails and costs more than an engine replacement.
