If the bronco falls through for me I will likely replace my 99 Land cruiser(with 433k miles on it) with a newer 200 series land cruiser(either toyota or lexus)
my plan is to get a base 2.7 sasquatch then put 31's and run scca rallycross in it set up like a bowler or rally raid style truck. and winter commuter.
those rings are $170 per ring online or $250 from the dealer. So for 5 rings its $850-1250 since the rings dont come with the wheels since they arnt DOT approved
the badlands is the Sasquatch minus wheels and tires and fender flares. Have you ever priced OEM wheels? they are crazy expensive. The OEM BBS's for my 17 Miata were $800 a piece if purchased from the dealer.
Those 35's are(going by Wrangler Duratrac in 35x12.5r17) are $330 per tire, So that...
Also the 5.0 is $1k on the F150 and the 3.5 is like $3500 alone with the Powerstroke being I think a 5k upgrade as well. So I think its fine for only 1 upgrade choice engine wise.
So working off these prices with X plan for the bronco's I am shopping
Base 2.7 at 33,331
Base 2.7 Sasquatch at 38,331
Badlands 2.7 at 45,829
Badlands 2.7 Squatch at 48,329
The badlands with squatch is out completely, I dont think the base to badlands is worth the $7500 difference for what I...
So i am likely to build a Bowler EXR or Rally Raid style Bronco instead of a rock crawling low speed 4x4ing Bronco.
Would be starting with a Base, 2.7/Auto.
I know the Sasquatch is only a 1.5" lift and then 35's vs 30's is only 2.25ish inches of actual height gain.(actual tire height...
i mean a bronco will have more tire room than a challenger, dont stock body challengers have tire size issues in the rear?
But i am likely going Base 2.7/Auto Sasquatch since i dont think that the $7k difference between the base and black diamond is worth it.
these days the only thing i care about is android auto/apple car play and use the factory system the least amount possible. I mean the system is cool now, what about in 10-15 years?
