Not my first, but toward the top of the list for sure!
in order of acquisition~ newest first- I still have the three Broncos!
2023 Braptor
1970 Bronco
1975 Bronco
2000 F250
1998 Ford Explorer
1978 F-150
The leading edges of the MEK are way too exposed and would be the big drawback to me. The 4x4 attitude looks to have the same flaw. Septuagenarian points to a fix for that with the Ford plastic armor, but I don't like the looks of the plastic armor and they don't come off like the MEK armor...
‘you could eliminate concern for the panhard- park it on a level surface and loosen both bolts. You could either jack up the body or push the body around some manually- then set it back down with full weight on the springs and tighten the bolts. This will relieve any stress in the bushings from...
Back in the mid-90s, I was an engineer for suspension products. We always fought the big 3’s ability to throw money at a problem. It was (likely still is) very common to adjust spring rates from driver side to passenger side to accommodate for fuel tank location, engine harmonics and...
So did this impact the height difference at all? The sensor is for the live valve shocks that are designed to monitor road conditions and adjust accordingly. The angle would certainly make a difference in response of the shocks, but I don't see how they would adjust for height differences...
I haven't convinced myself to buy this type of system yet (on the fence), but since you are looking for input...
Having the Molle is nice to mount things to in the drawer, but something will fall out thru the holes as you have them laid out and it will jam the drawers when you need to access...
Bumper looks great- glad you were able to find sensor hole plugs too.
in regards to the rubber pcs- one was torn in two by my over-eager son, so they got tossed. I am sure they can be sourced cheap (ish) from a dealer.
looking forward to pics with the lights!
This is a good deal and had it been available a month ago, I would have jumped on it.
With it not being compatible to all Broncos (sensors, ACC, camera relo), the Zeon line being upgraded by Warn, and cheaper options available, I would say this is a sell off by Ford.
There is no reason it...
Not looking for your pity- to be honest, your input had been fairly useless at this point- It may be best for you to step away as you suggest.
Like many others here, I have invested in a vehicle and expect sound design and manufacturing. As a business leader, I understand ‘shit happens’- it’s...
I don’t know, $5,000+ cost on a new top- on a brand new vehicle-seems like something I shouldn’t have to worry about at all. Ford should have done better.
I don’t think its a doomsday as your message may suggest (terrible way to live)- in fact I’m normally a glass half full person...
I have had my Bronco since March this year and was hoping to avoid participating in these threads regarding hard top issues... yet here I am.
12,600 miles on my Bronco and I have seen the first crack under the passenger side window. I have nothing mounted to the top and it has been off the...
I Paid $2k to have my Braptor (brand new at the time) and my wife's Black Denali with 50k miles. Both had full clay bar, paint correction, 'graphene' ceramic, climate controlled 24 hour cure and 10 year warranty. At this price they also tinted the front windows on both cars, so maybe $900...
I was looking at several different colors and really liked the then discontinued Cyber Orange. I saw the HPR on the lot and it was a no brainer. Best color offered at the moment. Pictures never do it justice...
