Completely fair. Its hard to say what's good...
MSRP +TTL on a Raptor in 2023 would have been a great deal. I jumped on at a little over $6k under MSRP earlier this year on a '23 and was out with TTL well under MSRP. I thought it was a great deal at the time. No regrets, but seeing even...
So with the info you provided what is a 'good' price on new? if you are out the door, 'all in' at MSRP- is that good in your estimation? I understand dealers get rebates from Ford and possibly other incentives, there is also the carrying cost of inventory (not sure when that kicks in for...
At 52 this year, after unexpectedly losing my 33 yr old brother-in0law, this is exactly how my dealership experience went with my Braptor. The wife said- life is short.
To the OP on this deal- I would certainly go get a Raptor, but shop a little. The thrill is in the hunt and this one doesn't...
I was given a n ACC relocation kit from Bodyguard Bumpers. It mounts behind the hood latch and sit the ACC below and to the right of the R in the grill. Looked like a manageable location and no cutting of the shrouds.
except with the Raptor- apparently there is an extra cooler other Broncos...
Finally got the winch in- VR EVO 12S. Man the hardware that comes with these looks like cheap Chinese galvanized junk (it is from China)
it’s a really tight fit and some winches may not be compatible with this. If the EVO didn’t have the big cast aluminum ‘armo’ armor over the motor, there...
I have been looking at the Cooper STT Pro. I ran them on a 3/4 ton truck and they rode well- only got 35,000 miles under the diesel though
37x12.5 = 36.8 x 13.0
37x13.5 = 36.8 x 13.3
9% gain in HP is Eh, but the 22% increase in torque is significant- and will be obvious in the seat of the pants on a heavy vehicle. Would be interesting to see side by side run (or at least times) versus a stock Raptor.
Now besting the Jeep 392 torque rating by 15%- would be interesting to...
the CBI bumper I installed put the winch plate directly between the frame rails, vertically midway between the frame horn bolts. Pretty robust design regarding the frame, but I agree, still not strong enough. You are relying on very small welds and no gussetting.
Just installed a CBI bumper over the weekend. I have yet to put a winch in it (later this week). It looks well made, good welds and a good design. I think it’s got good lines and doesn’t hinder approach angle much more than the stock bumper.
the two piece design makes for an easy install, bu...
A few notes- I did nothing with the ACC at this time. it’s not in the way of the bumper or winch and has thrown no codes being blocked. I really never used ACC and as the prior owner had issues- I figured I would do without for now. I was concerned with the crash avoidance system, but it’s...
I spent a lot of time researching winch bumpers, online, at Bronco events and on here (thanks to those that have answered innumerable questions).
CBI originally made my short list due to the design, styling and it appeared to be shorter overhang. CBI appears to be big in the Toyota world and...
Mods are all personal preference and to each their own. Winch bumpers on Broncos are a tough call as the front end isn’t a Jeep and easy to slap a winch on.
There are a lot of good looking and functional bumpers out there. It was a battle researching all these to find the one I like. I chose...
Where are you Located? I’m near Bristol and have been looking at an aftermarket bumper.
I have a Raptor so the hooks and covers are slightly different than standard. I may be willing to part with it if I like the bumper I’m getting.
Been looking at the 13.5s for my Braptor. While they do 'fit', they rub on the front edge of the UCA when turned to lock. Not ideal.
The Beadlock moves the outside of the tire about 1" (tired bead plus thickness of rim bead)- which would move the inner wall toward the outer, maybe just enough...
Discount acquired Tire Rack... maybe this is a redundancy play.
Double checked Discount and they don't discontinued that but Tire Rack does. The Cooper site shows nothing to that effect.
I would start with 5 tires from new, but could always go 13.5 width as a replacement.
Had this happen...
