  1. Android auto not connecting

Wifi is the means of communication if you're not using a cable. Bluetooth doesn't have the bandwidth to broadcast that much data to the infotainment system.
  2. Android auto not connecting

I use wired AA only. Here's what works for my Android 11 phone. Enable developer mode on your phone and set the "Default USB configuration" type to File Transfer/Data, whatever your phone calls that option. Every time you connect your phone via the cable make sure your phone is unlocked, on the...
  3. Anyone else feel this way? Grab handle woes

https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/2021-badlands-sasquatch-took-a-hit.71534/ This unfortunate forum member had someone hit them. I noticed their grab handles. It doesn't seem that the handle prevents or hinders the airbag deployment. It sounded like some were wary of using these screws for...
  4. B&O front speakers worth changing?

Bass blockers work as a High-Pass Frequency filter, right? So a 300Hz blocker allows for all frequencies above 300Hz only? Did you feel like the Hertz 4" speakers and PRV 4" center had too much boominess? I prefer to listen to a completely flat equalization so I'm wondering if I could just...
  5. B&O front speakers worth changing?

Have you tried filling any of the speaker cavities with polyfil?
  6. B&O front speakers worth changing?

Wouldn't 6.5" in the rears require more power to drive resulting in lowered volume over the 4"? Also try negatives in an EQ, everything in reference to zero as your max. You can't amplify a signal without degrading it. So keep your treble and bass at 0 level, then set your mid to the...
  7. B&O front speakers worth changing?

I really appreciate you documenting each step of the way with incremental results. I've been following along and would probably replicate your setup. I wish to do simple speaker swaps only. Thank you for your trials!
  8. Aftermarket Hitch

    Lol nice drill bit
  9. Base manual transmission on 33’s

Well I'm curious to know what kind of issues you face if you don't mind reporting back later. Routes you must avoid due to height clearance? Difficulty in raising a 32lb MTB above your head after a sweaty run? Will other riders make fun of you when you bust out a two step ladder in the trail...
  10. Base manual transmission on 33’s

I've got the same Thule roof bike carriers. Can you actually lift your bike up that high to strap it in? Even with running boards on my 33" tires I don't think it'd be worth it to mount my Thules on the Bronco and am now looking into tow hitch mounted carriers.
  11. (CLOSED) Group Buy | Suma Performance Mirrors

I emailed [email protected] not too long ago about it. I'll give them a few days.
  12. (CLOSED) Group Buy | Suma Performance Mirrors

Uh oh, got an email from Paypal saying the refund had failed...
  13. Relay/fuse needed for upfitter switches?

Do the Rigid lights have instructions? What is the size of the included fuse? Relay probably isn't needed since you're using an aux switch to control.
  14. I saw it yesterday. Now I can’t unsee it.

I recently swapped for Sumas. That's how I was able to tell the stock FOV was so different!
  15. I saw it yesterday. Now I can’t unsee it.

Driver and passenger mirrors have different field of views too
  16. Hood bump stop info, causes and part number

Hood bump stop part number: M2DZ-16758-A I wanted to recap my experience, frustrations, and resolution with hood flutter and movement. I could not find the true part number for the bump stops either so I wanted to share that. My Bronco's hood since day 1 had just a tiny bit of movement at...
  17. Installed Mabett back seat/cargo area ceiling light

My install completely echoes this. Too much plastic around the Mabett plug to connect cleanly. Installed the light as it was just to see if it'd work and it remained loose in the ceiling plastic with some gaps. I pulled it back out, relocated the gray adhesive strips to outside the indentions...
  18. (CLOSED) Group Buy | Suma Performance Mirrors

Ya I've taken apart many laptops completely and reassembled and this little tiny connector is tough. Maybe you didn't press down on the lock release? It's a very small piece on the plug itself that you must depress, then you pull it out and up. It's more than the bendy tabs that hold this plug...
  19. HELP!! Running Board Problem!

The Westin Grate boards are in my opinion the best option out there for foot grip. I'm happy to see someone else with them! I went with the JCR Offroad pinch weld covers. https://www.jcroffroad.com/product/BR6PW.html
  20. (CLOSED) Group Buy | Suma Performance Mirrors

I know it but the back of the Suma mirrors had a plastic piece looking exactly like a turn signal arrow. Since it was there I guess I expected to see an indicator come through the mirror.
