Yup, and it's a short term capital gain since owned less than a year, which will be taxed at the same rate as his ordinary income rate. Plus, he will have to pay sales tax to the dealer on the original purchase along with title, registration and doc fees. Any mark up you do starts to get eaten...
Great thread. Lots of good info on this mod and think I'm going to give this a go if I find some time this weekend. I'm going to use these as connectors for building the wiring harness to keep things a little tighter and cleaner...
Looks like a great adventure, covering some serious distance. Keep an eye out for rattlesnakes around the campground and roadside stops in north and west Texas.
Not to veer off topic too far but has anyone found a part number for these Raptor steps that bolt directly on the rock rails? Guessing they are not yet available since they are on a pre-production Raptor vehicle but hoping perhaps the part number might be in Ford's part system for future ordering.
Hope @Scruffyduck didn't take too much 20 gauge on this thread. This link might help a bit https://www.ford.com/support/how-to...l-bronco-update-frequently-asked-questions/#5
Definitely call your insurance company directly. To my knowledge, the Texas standard insurance form for physical damage (collision and comprehensive) does not specifically exclude damage caused by rodents or vermin. The typical comprehensive property damage clause in Texas is broad in that it...
They look good. I went with all black and installed them this morning. Very nice quality. After installing, I have the same concerns that led you to remove them. I'm going to give them some time to see if they end up being useful or just visual clutter.
I picked these up for our 4 door as well, and I was impressed with the quality, quick shipping, and they came packaged well. I like you can select the color you want for the Bronco silhouette image on them...allows you to match up to your body paint color if you like.
It's really a bit surprising that Ford does not include this additional part/feature of the alarm system as standard with the factory "alarm" system shipped with the Bronco.
I'm not a fan of ADM, but that one is admittedly a low ADM these days and it's for a Wildtrak. If it's the vehicle you want and assuming your ordered one is not arriving any time soon, then look at it as an opportunity cost to have the Bronco you want now and get rid of all the worry and angst...
If you or a family have the Ford Pass app and are logged into it for the account activated and associated with that Bronco, then that person can use the FordPass app to show the location of the Bronco, can lock and unlock the doors, can start it (can't stop it if turned on using the in cabin...
I have to ask why? I get it's cool but unless there is some special application at issue, 4G is more than adequate for a car Wifi hotspot to feed the kid's ipads, laptops, etc. I use the 4G hotspot in my Escalade to power two Chromecast with Google TVs feeding into the two 12 inch OLED screens...
