Noticed that the area above the rear view on wife's new bronco has wires and connector exposed (see pic). Is this area suppose to have a piece of trim to cover the connections?
Here's a good article/explanation on the why it happens with stainless steel fasteners and the different solutions. Definitely something that should have been addressed earlier by BD, and can be addressed in a few ways, including different specs on the stainless steel fasteners...
It is really nice to see one of these situations end in a positive way. It seems like too many of these stories, lately, do not have a favorable ending.
Thank you!!! I may go that route. Do you feel like you get a good weather tight seal using that existing factory cap with male pins added? I assume yes, but thought I'd check. Any seals that should be ordered with the pins? Also, is the length of the existing lead coming out of the back of...
Thank you. Any one know the gauge of the existing factory harness fog light wire? Planning to remove the current connector and use a Weather Pack connector so it will connect up easily to the BD Fog Kit, and want make sure I order the right gauge weather pack pins. Looks like pin wire options...
Did you ask the dealer about the miles? Did the dealer have an explanation? Dealers usually document how many miles the vehicle was delivered to their lot with. Also I think I recall someone posting that if Ford did testing with the truck for quality control, Ford documented that with a...
What is the best way/procedure to get out the existing headlight switch module in order to replace it with a new one having the fog button?
P.S. This a great thread; so much information but long. Thank you to all who contributed and shared.
The lack of a memory feature for the power seats/mirrors was a bit of a surprise for car being produced in 2021 and one that has a fair amount of tech built in. If they're going to put power seats and mirrors in a Bronco, then add a little memory button module. Too easy. In fact, with...
Ask them if they remember the bronco6g.com forum? Then ask them for a revised purchase order.

The Ford ESP Premium Protect (add on the lights coverage, FOB coverage and first day rental) seems like a solid product and it's backed by Ford (not some third party warranty company that might not be in business in a year or two). Maxes out at 8 years, I think. Check out Zeigler Ford and...
I tried to use the quotes to negotiate with my local dealer to match Zeigler's and Flood's prices as my preference is to keep business local when I can. I told my dealer so but it was well over $1k more...said could not even get close. Had no choice but to go with the lowest bid for the exact...
I looked at both Flood and Zeigler, and went with Zeigler since it was a little less than Flood for the package I was doing. Both will provide you with free pricing/quotes. I did not look at Granger since they did not have it set up when I was looking...
Took delivery around the same time and also got the 42k points right away but the remaining 220k points took until about Jan 10. That was more of a function of the dealer figuring how to do it on their side and me keeping pressure on them. Holidays in there as well. I took some of the...
Interesting the Bronco hotline said the Bronco was eligible for X Plan pricing. The last I saw from Ford said the 2021 and 2022 Broncos (along with others) were not eligible. Got to love the consistency of information. We were told no to x plan pricing by the dealer when we went to pick ours up.
It's possible your dealer's parts department marked them up (or more likely the service manager since I think you usually have to do the transaction with the service manager to use the Ford reward points to pay). Call the dealer's parts department and ask for the price for that part #.
There...
