  1. 2.7 Base Sas towing a 5,000lb Lexus GX

A Lexus GX broke its differential on the trail and the Bronco did an amazing job pulling it uphill with ease. Attached one strap as a bridle to the Lexusā€˜ tow hooks, then a tow strap to a solid shaft pintle hook on my Bronco. Used soft shackles. I was nervous a couple times the Lexus would run...
  2. My Base Sasquatch and Overland trailer (video pulling up a dirt hill)

I’ve had the trailer for a couple years now and used to tow it with my F150. After getting stuck a couple times, we couldn’t wait to get the Bronco. The trailer is an all steel frame, pintle hitch that can rotate, air shocks, and leaf springs from a Jeep Wrangler, on 35ā€ tires. With gear and...
  3. Someone had a very bad day (Bronco rollover)

Sad to see these, and definitely one of my biggest fears. Especially when my wife and dogs are with me. looks like the Bronco held up well and protected the passenger compartment.

Maybe a bad ground? I’ll have to mess with it some more.
  6. After a 2+ year wait, we got our 2-door Wildtrak. And then... totaled?

I’m curious how this test is on the Sasquatch without the crash bars. OP, really sorry about your Bronco. I can tell that was a serious hit, and I know it would never be the same afterwards.

  9. Curt Plug-and-Play No-Splice Trailer Wiring Harness Out For Bronco

I have the old kit, ordered it before Curt came out with the new one. I’m looking at the wiring again and found the red wire you were talking about. It has a stripe on it
  10. Curt Plug-and-Play No-Splice Trailer Wiring Harness Out For Bronco

@VoltageDrop I’m in the middle of the install of the curt harness on my basesquatch. Two questions for you. How did you remove the interior trim panel? I feel like I might break something.. EDIT found the answer for the trim panel. Also what is the floating red wire you were grounding? I’m only...
  11. Hey California, anybody got a positive review for a dealership with NO MARKUPS for their Bronco?

Had a great experience with Price Ford in Simi Valley. Honored MSRP and didn’t try to push me into buying extras etc, it was all straightforward.
  12. King Of The Hammers 2023 Prep

I went for the first time last year, had the trailer and truck in my profile picture. It does get cold at night, but I managed with a good sleeping bag. It was windy but not too windy for my tent, future weather could be different of course. sand was everywhere and took forever to clean out...
  13. RACE RED Bronco Club

In two of its favorite locations:
  14. šŸ›  4/4/22 build week group [now with Google doc]

Mine arrived with the hood still color sanded and not polished. The dealer sent it to a body shoot and I picked it up a couple days later, looks perfect now. It would be impossible for someone at Ford to not see the unfinished paint job.
  15. Install Plasticolor mudflaps (Sasquatch)

@Rick Astley also.. They’re a universal fit product. Not model specific. It’s just a set of self tapping screws. I know how to use those, but would like to know where other people have drilled into so they get a good hold and clean install.
  16. Install Plasticolor mudflaps (Sasquatch)

I just ordered a set of the 9ā€ plasticolor mudflaps for my base Sasquatch. I’m excited to install them. I’ve searched threads on here and can’t find any posts specific to how to install them on the Sasquatch model. Where is the best location to screw them on? Share your experiences and...
  17. What are you using your comms radios for, and what do you have? (VHF, GMRS, FRS etc..)

Here’s my Anytone dual band install so far. I’ve only mounted it and will be wiring it up tomorrow. The mount is held in place using the bolts in front of the cup holders, I removed the little metal Bronco plate and put it in the glove box for safe keeping. I might re-mount in another location...
