I ended up ordering a bar to mount them from Texas Complete Bronco, it mounts to the existing bolts on the modular bumper. I’ll post pics when I get it installed

@Felix808 Happy to help you figure out this issue as well. Privacy codes in theory shouldn't have much to do with that. You may be getting some type of interference or the squelch is set incorrectly.

I am a maybe, will confirm in the next week. Side note on the GMRS you may consider using no privacy code. Not all GMRS manufactures make radios with privacy codes, and it does not prevent others from hearing you. It only prevents you from hearing others not using the "privacy code" on that...

Some of mine would not come out, and some would unscrew easily. i drilled a small screw into the head of the plastic screw and used that to turn and pull out the screws. Lowes has replacements, or even buy a set on Amazon. They were frustrating to remove!

@dj10024 nice install. I’m sure it’s pretty well protected but I am nervous about the tank getting hit or rupturing. I know they have the safety relief valve. My tank is a 2 gallon and a different shape, I’ll have to see if it fits there without protruding much. Maybe I’ll mount a skid plate over it

Where did you mount the tank? I’m trying to find ideas of a secure and protected location to mount a similar size tank

Has anyone installed these? I have a a set from hornblasters that I used to have on my S10 but I can’t find a good location to install the air tank on the bronco

2.7 BaseSquatch tows our trailer with SmittyBilt Gen2 XL tent and gear. That way we can leave camp setup while we go explore. Pic with the F150 was pre-Bronco, just for reference of what it looks like set up.

On a relatively flat highway at 65 mph I was getting about 17mpg Going up the trail brought the average down to 14. I meant to reset the avg before the trail for a reading, but forgot. It was steep and uphill the whole way in, so I imagine it was drinking the gas.
