  1. Help me spec my aftermarket build - 4Dr BL Squatch

Oh yeah, I don't do lights either. Their purpose is for seeing better while hauling ass at night. Driving on dirt access roads the stock headlights do just fine. On the trail at night all those big ass lights do is piss off the people in front of you and make it harder for them to see with those...
  2. RockSlide Engineering Power Step Sliders installed on 4-Door Bronco

Yeah, didn't TC put those ugly steel flares on? That will damage the fender if you get hard up against a tree with them? 😁
  3. RockSlide Engineering Power Step Sliders installed on 4-Door Bronco

Looks like the badges are pop riveted on. They look like 3/16 stainless pop rivets, a 3/16 drill bit will make short work of those. Yeah, for that price we shouldn't have to advertise for them. 😊
  4. Help me spec my aftermarket build - 4Dr BL Squatch

I think we can agree that the Bronco will do everything you want it to do with zero modifications, other than some steps. If you're concerned about East coast weather, then I haven't seen a better or more beefy step than the 4WP product. As far as cosmetic mods that are also functional, I get...
  5. RockSlide Engineering Power Step Sliders installed on 4-Door Bronco

Yes, they are EXPENSIVE. Unfortunately for me, my wife tried to get in a Sasquatch Bronco and it was too difficult. While this will be my driver, she needs to be able to get in, and it will be the car we tow behind the motorhome. I'm stuck with this as the only option at this point, since I...
  6. Ford Accessory Winch Kit now available for 2021 Bronco

Damn, that's too expensive. I wonder how much just the mounting bracket is on the Modular bumper, then buy your own winch and don't worry about integrated wiring for control. As rarely as a winch is used, we can use a normal winch controller and loop it back to the driver like we always do.
  7. RockSlide Engineering Power Step Sliders installed on 4-Door Bronco

The AMP steps are not rock sliders, totally different concept. You will tear the Amp steps up if you get into rocks with them. These are not competing products. Amp steps are really nice if you'll never go into rocks.
  8. 1" inch Sasquatch lift for 37s

Well, sorry for my incomplete description of motion ratio. The issue is still motion ratio, but in addition to the angle of the shock the position of the shock on the arm also contributes to motion ratio. If the shock is mounted halfway up the length of a suspension arm, then the shock will...
  9. Do we have a Badlands CTI score yet?

Thanks, thought that's what is was but hadn't heard it called that. I have a set of ramps at the shop to do just that, but not easily adjustable. Inconsistency on an RTI ramp can be because of different tire pressures, or driving closer to the edge of the ramp. If pressures are the same, and...
  10. 1" inch Sasquatch lift for 37s

Just some clarifying here, since folks are trying to learn. The issue is what is called motion ratio, which is the ratio of wheel travel to shock travel. If the shock is straight up and down with the wheel, then an inch of wheel travel is also an inch of shock travel. If the shock is mounted at...
  11. BILSTEIN ESCV Bronco suspension / shocks explained - "End Stop Control Valve" Dampers (Bronco HOSS Suspension w/ Position Sensitive Dampers)

We'll see how that goes. 😁 Really should work well as a good hydraulic bump stop. We'll see about the overall valving, and how much improvement a good aftermarket shock will do. For 99% of people the Bilsteins should work very well. From watching a few videos of the Bronco in action I think...
  12. Do we have a Badlands CTI score yet?

What is a CTI trailer that is different from a standard RTI ramp?
  13. Help me spec my aftermarket build - 4Dr BL Squatch

I get wanting the bigger tires, yet I bet the Bronco will do everything you want it to with the tires it comes with. Is it just a looks thing? Also, why do you want to change the front and rear bumpers? Just don't like them? Want the Bronco to look much more beefy and modified? How much of your...
  14. First 2021 Bronco solid front axle (SFA) swap + 40's!

That's cool for a nice 1550 upgrade. Guess I'm thinking about Reid and Crane king pin stuff, the 1550 stuff won't work with their regular D60 knuckles, because of the size and because of needing the 1550 unit bearings instead of spindles. They both make special knuckles, which require new inner...
  15. First 2021 Bronco solid front axle (SFA) swap + 40's!

Understand what you're saying. This guy isn't doing his own work, he's paying a shop (well, SEMA, so who knows how much he's paying), and shop time to narrow an axle and fab brackets can be just as much as ordering a complete axle assembly. I've narrowed my own axles, and know what's involved...
  16. Off Roaded 2022

The lease on the Moab property was multi-year. It was said to be a multi-year program. 2022 is still out there a ways, maybe they want a better idea of demand before committing to schedules and personnel.
  17. This is your sign to go to an off roadeo

I'm going on a Sun. I have some thought o switch it to Mon so maybe fewer people are there and maybe I can drive a 2dr. Hmm....
  18. This is your sign to go to an off roadeo

Awesome, you got to drive the 2dr! I'm going in 2 wks and really hope there is a 2dr to drive. Did they have more 2drs or was that the only one?
  19. First 2021 Bronco solid front axle (SFA) swap + 40's!

I get your point. Must have a grip of money to burn to do it to a brand new Bronco. To your Super 60 point, no way a stock Super 60 axle will go into a 2021 Bronco, it is way too wide. The Super 60 came in F450/550 and has the much bigger 1550 axle joints. So, to get a reasonable width (pic...
  20. It’s 2024. Your second Bronco… what would you like to see?

Factory disco sway bar with Sasquatch, any model A real yellow color Otherwise, I'm good. I want to keep this thing for ever, so the least electronics and extra options as possible.
