I actually originally had the low profile, but trailrax told me I’d need the 270 bracket for that awning, and a pair of the 90 degree brackets. Ended up sending the low profile awnings back.
The part is out of stock. Dealership has not returned my call for 2 weeks to let me know. Had to call a different dealership to find out. Will no longer be taking my Bronco to the original dealership.
Any idea what weight you're at? Or roughly how much junk you are carrying? I'm heading to Moab for 3 weeks in less than a month. Want to make sure I'm still able to do moderate trails without bottoming out.
Thanks for the response. I would say a majority of the weight is in the rear of the vehicle with the drawer system/cargo shelf/ and camping gear. I'm considering just buying a 4 door sas takoff. I am also worried about ride quality once all of that gear is removed.
I got a response from...
I don't have the exact weight added. I added overlanding accessories. I'm under payload, but I'm more worried about losing articulation & ride comfort while off-road. Roof rack, RTT, extra gas, traction boards, a fridge, storage drawers, cargo shelf, camping gear ect...ect. Eventually aim to...
I've been doing some research into upgrading my suspension for the added weight of overlanding. Having a hard time selecting. I have a 2 Door Badlands with Sasquatch. I was leaning towards OME until I found out they don't make a kit for the 2 door. I reached out to ARB and they said they...
The die worked. Grabbed the last one at my local ace. Thank you so much, that just saved my vacation plans next month. Hand tightened until it grabbed, then slowly tightened with a adjustable wrench.
Unfortunately the part is out of stock with ford with no sign of when it’ll be in. Going to try the die route before going to a body shop to try and weld a new stud on.
Anyone here install the 2 door platform themselves? Im missing some pieces (the door magnets and spacers), and don’t think I have the correct size nut plates (the ones with the arrows on them). Also, did you have all of this rust?
I have reached out to AAL FOR clarity, and they told me they...
Ooooo, I understand now. Yeah it does seem a little wobbly but I think they designed it that way. It's solid. I've kept my hard top on it for 2 weeks+ with no issues.
It takes a bit of muscle without the powered addon.
I usually get the top into position to be put back on, then push down a bit on the handle to take some of the weight off, then pull in the hand lever and slowly lower it down - even if it's just a couple of notches. Once I did it a few times...
I’m looking for a set of Archetype Racing 2 Door Magnum steps & a Heretic Studios 40” light bar, preferably clear but open to amber.
Located in Cleveland, OH. Will pay for shipping.
