Like others are saying, sounds like OBX would have been the better option for you.
I'm not going to do any major crawling, most places I go off-road are fine with any 4wd truck. Wanted a manual transmission 4 door, picked the big bend mansquatch and saved a ton of cash over going for a badlands.
It's been mixed bag with jeepers so far. Mostly them actively ignoring my Bronco, occasionally a compliment or question at a gas station, and have had one very intentional one finger salute from the oncoming :ROFLMAO: side of the interstate
Yeah, the standard stereo has been a pleasant surprise. Before picking up the car I was dreading the "necessary" stereo upgrades based on the doom and gloom threads about it on here. I am certainly not in any rush to change it after hearing it in person.
To the few remaining here, I'm happy to report I have updated the spreadsheet!
Blown away. The driving dynamics are excellent, and the manual transmission is perfect for this truck. Had a 3-4 hour ride home from the dealer with a couple of pitstops. City and interstate driving, rain and shine...
With a name like Dick Ma'Sh*tter, I'd say their intentions were obvious from the get go ;)
Sucks to hear scumbags like these are running around out there.
Nobody can really predict that, and if someone could they would be a very very rich man.
Just my 2 cents, I'd imagine it will cool off but still hold better residual value than the market average. Look at wranglers pre 2020, they certainly depreciated with time, but not nearly as bad as...
Ended up ordering a set of GoRhino D6 steps, they're 10% off on the GoRhino site right now. Guess it's a race to see if the side steps can make it from Texas to SC faster than my Bronco can get delivered on a 50 minute drive 🤣
I'm hanging in there. Ford's order tracker quit working for me last week, and I think if I refresh ordertrack.app one more time and see "In Transit" I may have a stroke.
To my knowledge it's still sitting in the railyard enjoying the nice warm weather without me 😢
It's getting ridiculous... Got my ride to the dealer lined up for this weekend, but starting to feel like I'm going to have to cancel on them again :cautious:
Just wait, the fun doesn't end once it leaves the plant!
Mine was shipped via rail, but has been sitting in the railyard for quite some time with a convoy delay. Something about it sitting in a lot 1 hr away from the dealer with no ability to pick it up makes you a special kind of antsy :ROFLMAO:
A cool $25k ADM. Nothing like paying 50% over the original MSRP to have the privelege of buying a used vehicle lol.
Someone will buy it, and hopefully they enjoy their purchase.
Roast cloth only comes in the OBX, that is one. $75k is a ripoff for that.
Edit: they've got the VIN listed, you could probably toss that into the window sticker site and get the full spec list.
