Not at all. Sasquatch package on my 7MT Big Bend is already more off-road prowess than I ever expect to put to full use.
Sure, I'd welcome the additional power of the braptor, but not alongside everything that comes with it (especially the price tag).
Scout seems to be shaping up into a pretty exciting competitor for the segment. I doubt it will be enough to sway me from my Bronco, but it's still way early in the game for them.
Love to see more growth in auto manufacturing in SC as well! Add them to the list of BMW, Mercedes, and Volvo.
Thought I was the only one lol.
I haven't seen any other vehicle on the market capable of looking heinously bad in base trim but looking top notch with a minimal modification. Chevy 1500 base trim vs higher trims may be a close second, but gladiator definitely takes the cake.
10k and no noise. Wouldn't trade it for anything. It's an easy one to drive, feels very well sorted, and perfectly compliments an enthusiast vehicle like the Bronco.
Until the inevitable direct drive electrification that awaits us, you'll find me rowing my own 😎
Mine has been rock solid, have only had one issue in 10k. I had a "Service 4x4" warning pop up that would put the truck in limp mode, dumped new firmware in it and had my truck back to me the same day.
Have mostly used it as a road tripper and camping vehicle. Honeymoon period is definitely...
Manual transmission is rock solid, 2.3 has plenty of power, sasquatch package was worth the money, soft top is super easy to put into any configuration, and the thing is a blast to drive. Not to mention I feel like they nailed the interior for being minimal and utilitarian. Exactly what I want...
That looks really nice!
The nights I have spent in mine with seats folded down and just a bag have been questionable in the comfort department to say the least.
Awesome write up, congrats on the Bronco and an awesome road trip. I'm sure I'll notice the cool race red out on the roads down here, so make sure to wave at the eruption green sasquatch!
Go Tigers!
Since we're having an eruption green mansquatch photo dump, update on mine too.
Still bone stock outside of the GoRhino steps. Debadged it since this old photo, couldn't stand the big bend sauatch badges or dealer badge on there. ≈5k miles that have all been an absolute blast whether on the...
Ford definitely made your decision for you if you wanted a 4dr w/ manual. I may be the odd one out that opted for BB vs BL to get a 4dr manual.
All I really wanted was a base sas model, but the tan interior and 4dr manual sqautch forced my hand for big bend. Honestly incredibly happy with the...
Since launch I've thought the Bronco Sport looks like what the Escape design language logically would have continued on to. But that's a complete aside from the topic of the new paint color.
I think it would look great without the white trim. The white trim looks shoehorned onto the newer...
Mine is manual as well, I keep it on the "Calm Screen" all of the time and really enjoy that. I'll flip through to other info as needed.
Horizontal tach would be a neat party trick in sport mode I guess. With it being a truck and not a sports car I'm not really that focused on the tach too...
Seeing more and more steadily, but still not super common. Always exciting seeing others out on the road and remembering that the Bronco is finally actually real lol.
But in your defense, my ranger I drive for work has the 10 speed and it hasn't had any issues hunting for gears or acting funky.
End of the day you've still got the coolest truck on the market since you have a Bronco, even if it doesn't have the more niche transmission ;)
The man is right.
Having a manual and choosing your own gears beats having an automatic that tends to be bad at the automation part.
You're having to suggest using a cumbersome gear limiting feature as a band-aid to manually cap your top gear but not necessarily select your gear all while the...
Surprised you found a manual sasquatch on a lot. Fingers crossed that's a good sign for availability even though it was probably a shady dealer or abandoned order lol. The first ones just got delivered in late May - mid June for the 5/9 build week.
I daily drive a pickup for work, but my...
Manual gang stays winning 😎
Have absolutely no issues with the 2.3 feeling anemic running it from 1-6, standard or sport mode. If we need that low crawling finesse we've got a totally separate gear that's not touched in daily driving.
